Hahaha, the “clarification” was adorable. Don't worry, dear; there, very much so, are many of us who are either at the age or, in general, have the maturity level to respect a heterosexual man who can overtly appreciate another heterosexual man’s appearance, style, moves, you name it, without reverting into the mentality of a 12-year-old and assume that the heterosexual man doing so is gay, lol. I should clarify that in no way am I speculating that you were “checking out” Michael, lol; I, however, and as an almost 33-year-old heterosexual female, wanted to make it clear that, if anything, most mature female minds, at least, view a heterosexual male who can appreciate another heterosexual male’s looks, style, moves, sex appeal, etc., as being entirely confident in their sexuality and their overall self, and that there is genuinely no reason to clarify anything, lol. If people jump to some absurd immature mentality and attempt to “shame” you or crack jokes on behalf of your sexuality, then that is on them, dear, not you. It's usually that general toxic mentality that one finds in a man or woman who has deeply rooted insecurities and overt jealousy issues, in general, and even more so in relationships. It's kind of like whenever I see a male comment on something and feel obligated to say things like, “No homo” or “I’m a straight guy, but...” before they compliment another man, and in this case Michael, by saying, “I’m a straight guy, but even I would cry like a baby if I saw Michael in concert” or “No homo, but as a straight man, even I can confidently say that Michael Jackson was a gorgeous man” and things of that nature. Guys do this, either consciously or subconsciously, out of, and for lack of better words, “fear” that someone will label them a type of sexuality that they are not; it is not only silly but unfortunate that certain people have caused that “need” or “desire” to clarify one’s sexuality before giving a simple damn compliment, lol, especially when more times than not, females can compliment another female’s looks, etc., without getting cornered into the “omg, are you gay” box. At my age, and even whenever I was younger, I could never imagine having that mentality, lol; a mentality like that, very much so, screams, “MY MATURITY LEVEL NEVER SURPASSED 7th GRADE!”. 💀😂🤦🏼♀️ If there is one thing that I know about women, and especially heterosexual women that are mature and have a solid foundation of self-confidence [not saying that they have no self-esteem issues; who doesn't nowadays], is that there is something incredibly “sexy,” so to speak, or attractive about a man who is confident enough within himself and his very own sexuality to acknowledge beauty, attractiveness, swag, and so on, when it comes to another human being, regardless of whether that human being is another man. *Do yourself a favor, as well as the justice, of never feeling obligated to “clarify” your sexuality for the sake of those who don't acquire the ability to give compliments where they are due, just because it's to another man, let alone find themselves able to watch something sexually charged that involves another man without fear of being labeled as gay.* That is all I have for my “older sisterly advice,” lol. Carry on. 😂
@MANNYSTEWART3 жыл бұрын
Oh!!! I was pondering this comment for a while wondering how I presented insecurity because I do recognize beauty in everything anyway and am extremely confident in my sexuality, without deviance. It's because I cut out the comment I was responding to, that my sister made. She had mentioned something in the line of vulgarity which I responded to, I should've kept it or just cut my response too . Thanks for the advice, it'll be incredibly useful for those whom read which it applies for!!
