michael was consistent all the time, i've seen many of his interviews, i havent stopped since he passed away. as with martin bashir, michael became defensive because sensitive as he is he knew that martin is out to ruin him, which he did not deserve. he may have eccentricities, he's in a different world, that's why it gets blown out of proportion. but you can never put a good man down.

MJ said his mind is always working, so with that much talent as he said it's even hard to sleep i think.., especially with that all stress from coming outside. World didn't understand well enough him, and that makes me sad becouse it cannot be changed anymore. One of the most talented person still. I recall when I was 16 years old and had a friend over at my house. When he looked through my CD collection and arrived at Michael Jacksons CD, he rudely said "Michael Jackson? Dude, what you listenin' to?" All I could do was pity my friend for his ignorance. Michael is a great artists, a gentle and kind soul, and a beautiful person both inside and outside. You're still a real fan. I've loved MJ my whole life too and I knew he was a great person, but it's ok if we feel we really didn't know him all that well because MJ hardly ever gave interviews. He was an extremely private person, some would even say he was a recluse. Basically he was the complete opposite of the attention/publicity whoring celebrities we've gotten so accustomed to over the last few years. When you don't give the tabloid press what they want, they print even more hateful stories.

I think with the MJ story, it's important that we all learn not to JUDGE people based on other viewpoints/ allegations... let's face it, many MANY of us are guilty of judging MJ harshly but in the end, watching many interviews with him etc. that he was in fact a very kind and sweet soul. he was not perfect, he made mistakes and sometimes hurt people but EVERYONE is contradictory, and I think he was an unbelievably compassionate person who, in the end, was unable to cope with his success.
