My take away from this is just that she cared about him in the sense of wanting the best for him, thinking someone needed to come back down to earth, and she went about it in her aggressive way unfortunately. The fact that she snatched Michael Jackson’s sunglasses and threw it across the room to say “you’re going to be normal like the rest of us” kinda like really pissed me off. First off, he’s very shy, second- he hates showing his eyes because he’s always said that the eyes are like the gateway to your soul. He’s described that he’s self-conscious about people seeing his eyes because of so much pain he’s been through. Secondly when Madonna said that she feels like, you know a country girl? While Michael Jackson is this pristine, polite person and said that it’s all about control- she’s misinterpreting him being in “control” with living with a strict a father that would beat you if you did something wrong. He had to be well mannered since he was five or six years old because he was always in the limelight. I’m glad that she humble herself and gained a new perspective and defended MJ after his death. It was all caused by miscommunication and her self centered-ness. I do feel like Michael added to the fire with their public bickering, but he was honest about their interactions and how he didn’t feel comfortable around her.

Have any of you ever stopped to think about how unique Michael was? He had signature jackets, pants, glove, hairstyles, socks, shoes, speaking voice, singing voice, adlibs, dance moves, music videos and who knows what else. His legacy lives on because of his work but also because of the stories told about him, there are a shit ton of those because Michael has met THOUSANDS of “VIP”s in the past and spends enough time with them for them to have a story to tell in the future on talk shows and during interviews, also his humanitarianism. He was literally one of a kind and some people say that when he enters a room it’s as if the air molecules change, people tense up and want to be around him. It’s amazing that a man as successful as him is so grounded and humble, there’s not a single story of him raising his voice in anger or being rude, in fact, there’s the exact opposite.
