When I was going through a really hard time mentally, one of the most beautiful things was that one night, a really old lady I became friends with said to me "why don't you come over and jump into my bed with me tonight?" I thought that was a beautiful thing to offer someone who just needed help, needed to talk and to be with another person. The most loving thing is to share your bed is absolutely true, because in large poor families you have 3 to as many as 6 in one bed. And when a person is blessed to have a bed and isn't forced to share it is a luxury to have a bed all to yourself. It is an endearing thing to give what is a luxury or special blessing to a guest. My parent live more than 300 miles from me and when they visit I always give them the master bedroom as a gesture of love and respect insisting that there is no need for hotel accommodations.
