When he died, my world just sunk, and here it is 13 years later, I still feel empty. He was the first of the great ones go followed by Whitney Houston and then Prince. They are all gone, and the new generation of singers just don't have what Michael Jackson gave us. In my estimation James Brown could not even come close to the phenomenal talent of Michael Jackson!

Legends never die 😭💔 R.I.P Michael , I miss and love u so much!❤ thank u for doing a story on him Lamont. I've been a moonwalker since I was a little girl at the age of 5 but sadly I found out about him when he passed away in 2009. I remember seeing his this is it speech on a live news broadcast and I fell in love with him instantly, even though I didn't know who he was at the time I still felt in my heart he was a innocent and loving person for sure. I also got some of his albums and CDs as well. Ever since I became a fan , I miss him like crazy, he was so misunderstood and so mistreated even though he treated everyone with love and kindness. He deserved better and he deserved peace, his doctor should have gotten LIFE in prison for killing Michael. It is not fair that he gets to live his life happily after killing one of the most sweetest and most talented and greatest entertainers of all time. R.I.P the king of pop, u didn't deserve what u went thorough and I hope u are not suffering anymore.❤

I was going to be a senior in high school, and my sister woke me up to tell me that Michael passed away, i got out of bed so fast, went to my living room and glued myself to the tv, and when I heard the news for myself I feel to the floor, my legs just game out. I was devastated, heartbroken and just screaming and crying. I was saving up money to go to London to see him perform in concert. And aside from being heartbroken I felt so sad for his children, his siblings and his mom.

@@MegaCadette55 it is. I went there about 2 years ago. Really interesting, a lot of memorabilia including his motorcycle from Purple Rain and many of his costumes. His ashes (as they tell you) are indeed located in Paisley Park (the name of his home/recording studio/party place). You walk out of there with much respect for the talent he was. I would love to see a video about him too. How about it Lamont!

I was such a fan in the 80s that when I meet up now with old friends from way back then, what they remember most about me was my love of all things relating to Michael Jackson. He was one in a million for sure. Extremely talented. Sad end to his life. Many prayers for his family and friends.
