I’ve always loved this track. I have a question though. I know it’s Leon performing this, but it doesn’t sound like him. Leon has a distinctive growl to his singing that always lets me know it’s him, but it’s similar to MJ so it works. That sound is missing here, but I thought Leon’s voice had already been converted by the AI model before the song production began? Wasn’t there once a video of Znop breaking down the song and saying that Leon’s AI vocals were already perfect?

@@DuggerMan He was talking about my pre A.I vocals. My vocals were all sent to Znop pre A.I. He used his own model. Also you have to remember this is some time ago now, the advances in A.I since this song was created has been incredible. And hopefully me and Znop can explore this new phase soon. 🤟🏽

Sugar Rush was originally written by Jackson in March 1982 and recorded the following month. It was later revealed to Rod Temperton and Quincy Jones for possible album potential, but Quincy Jones himself heard it four times and finally told him it would be better off the album stating it was way too repetitive and it was too similar talking about candy. Jackson himself argued that it's about a girl that gives him a bit of a sugar rush when it comes to loving her. So, it was scrapped in favor of the iconic song, Beat It. Jackson reworked on the song again in 1989-1990 for the upcoming scrapped Decade album, then Dangerous album with Teddy Riley producing and Bryan Loren co-producing the track. Neither of the demos would never see the light of day until July 1, 2023 when Znop leaked the original 1982 demo when a cassette was obtained from a old garage sale went to in the UK. Missing the premiere of this song is 100% my fault haha. I scheduled the video to come out 12 hours before it was supposed to, even I was surprised to wake up and find people commenting. As for a full album, that would take a very long time to complete - probably around 4 or 5 months if I want my best work on there.

It sounds very good, I would say that it lacks at some point, a change in tone of voice, because the whole voice always sounds the same, and Michael had his moments where he changed to a higher voice, or shouting... for example, look at PYT, as he has unevenness in his voice, as the song progresses... I think that this song would need that....

i love it! better than lady's eyes. is there any way that you can post a link to the multitracks? and also heres a tip, instead of using the "vhs" effect shown in the screenshots, i would suggest using ntscqt+, it's a more realistic vhs effect. or you can have someone convert it to vhs for you. either way i still love all the work done for this project.
