@@bosslady7611 I'm so very sorry for your and your family's loss! I lost my husband as well. We had 4 kids and he died young (14 years ago). It was hard but we were and are all comforted by feeling his spirit around us as well as knowing that he was at peace. You're husband's vessel is just gone but he isn't. I pray for your strength.

@@TH-ys2ud Thank you for your condolonces and kind words. He lives on in my heart and mind forever. He was only 50 years old when Covid ended his life. But he had been suffering with Diabetes and heart issues for some years. I am happy that his suffering has ended, but my heart aches every day. I try to keep in good spirits, but there are those days when the sadness and grief takes over. But God pulls me up and makes me strong....oh my Savior!!! I may weep in the darkness of night but joy comes in the morning. What hurts me the most is that I couldn't be there for his ending days because of the circumstances. My underlying conditions and his Covid would have been too risky for us. We have 5 daughters, ranging from 13 to 25. It's been hard for all of us, but we keep our faith in God, pray for strength, and look forward to brighter days. We are blessed, despite the challenges and unfortunate circumstances we have faced. We are a family of strong queens. And though we have lost our king, our Father, the King of all kings still reigns. I'm sorry for your loss as well. I share your pain with you. God bless you and you and your family, and I pray for your continued peace and blessings🙏❤

“The Lady in My Life” was one of the most difficult tracks to cut. We were used to doing a lot of takes in order to get a vocal as nearly perfect as possible, but Quincy wasn’t satisfied with my work on that song, even after literally dozens of takes. Finally he took me aside late one session and told me he wanted me to beg. That’s what he said. He wanted me to go back to the studio and literally beg for it. So I went back in and had them turn off the studio lights and close the curtain between the studio and the control room so I wouldn’t feel self-conscious. Q started the tape and I begged. The result is what you hear in the grooves." Jackson, Michael. Moonwalk: A Memoir (pp. 197-198). Crown.

There'll be no darkness tonight Lady our love will shine Lighting the night Just put your trust in my heart And meet me in paradise Now is the time girl You're every wonder in this world to me A treasure time won't steal away So listen to my heart Lay your body close to mine Let me fill you with my dreams I can make you feel alright And baby through the years Gonna love you more each day So I promise you tonight That you'll always be the lady in my life Lay back in my tenderness Let's make this a night we won't forget Girl, I need your sweet caress Reach out to a fantasy Two hearts in the beat of ecstasy Come to me, girl And I will keep you warm Through the shadows of the night Let me touch you with my love I can make you feel so right And baby through the years Even when we're old and gray I will love you more each day 'Cause you will always be the lady in my life Stay with me I want you to stay with me

Thank you so much! My big sister used to play this all the time when I was a little kid. She had speakers that made the walls shake, her boyfriend at the time was a d.j. so now I play this in her honor and of course with enough bass and volume to SHAKE THE WALLS! REST In Powerful Peace Queen...

Lost my mother 14 yrs ago , I'm 39 . . . She never got to see her granddaughter ride a bike , make the honor roll, accomplish so much and she wont get to see her graduate high school next week. So I dedicate this to my mother , my only child , my daughter whom I am very proud of and love very much and to my beautiful, strong, outstanding girlfriend. I almost gave up on love and did not think it was worth seeking anymore. God works in mysterious ways and she came in when I needed love the most . So on this day in recognition of the day the world lost MJ , I dedicate this song to the 3 most important women in my life , rest in peace to my mother but salute to Women all over the world. Love You All , God Bless and Thank You MJ
