Great tutorial. Repetition is key and the fact that the movement and steps are repeated a few times back-to-back is the best part. Most videos show a break down and then the end result once and you have to constantly rewind and watch again. This video is much better than all the rest and basically how choreographers teach their routines/steps/etc.

This is why I like 80's michael jackson vs. 90's 00's because the dance moves were fun fluid and just like the way Usher does his. Just fun.

I do like that you got it right, but as many dancers have done - they've copied what they've seen on video and directly copied it in a mirrored way, forgetting that MJ was actually doing everything "backwards".

Thanks for all you do. I'm really glad that you are making high quality videos because there are thousands of dance moves and I certainly am not able to do all of them!! I think you are great and I have all of your tutorials posted on my forum website under Dance Techniques. Could you by chance do a tutorial for leg movement for "Smooth Criminal Live in Munich History Germany" uploader is iAmOnlyLove @4:15. PLEASE!!! I know it's got to be simple but I still don't get it. Thank you.

KZbin comments are ridiculous as hell! somebody complained him for being annoying or talking too much. Then, I realized that enthusiastical teaching by trying to explain or make the a clear tutorial are all fucking annoying. Hell yeah, so please shut up, mute this video or find other ones which you think it's better than this. I'm pretty sure, you would blame on those videos as unfriendly or unintelligible tutorials. Stop watching it if you feel uncomfortable, no one forces you to watch the whole of it. And personally, I think Phillip did his good tutorial and I could understand it clearly.

J Lewis funny how people teach things under a wrong description/name! Maybe this is the Usher circle! But definately nt MJ one.
@alizafar507210 жыл бұрын
gabrielwhite You all just aren't very familiar with Michael if you really think Usher started this....Usher got that from MJ, just like damn near everything Usher does. MJ stopped doing this after the Bad Tour...watch concert footage from the Victory Tour (where he did this quite often) and he continued to do it, although a bit less, during the Bad Tour. I might have only seen him do this once during the Dangerous Tour Footage. Didn't see him do it again during the History Tour, any awards shows, or This is It footage.
@gaboaaa2310 жыл бұрын
ali z yra and MJ has it from the boys of the getthos
@NoName-im2fc9 жыл бұрын
gabrielwhite Not really! He got the Moonwalk from the ghettos alright, but all his other sliding dance moves are his own creation! +ali z It annoys me that MJ didn't put his concerts' dance moves into his music videos, very few watch his concerts and even fewer his old concerts, resulting in ignorants like the person above! Especially his circle glide move, I always thought it was his coolest dance, no idea why he stopped using it and why he stack with that slow motion circle glide from the "Smooth Criminal" video! Although the black kid in the back alley in the "Smooth Criminal" video does the fast one, but it is very brief and almost unnoticeable! Not to mention that there was different types of circle glides that he did, the one during Victory tour looked like he was floating throughout the stage in circles, the one in Bad tour he circle glide on the a single spot fast, and of course the one in Dangerous tour that looked like the so-called "Usher glide", he did this once in Taiwan or something, and you're right, he totally stopped doing it after that! Now Usher do it in every damn single MV he does and people think his sorry ass invented it!
@gaboaaa239 жыл бұрын
Yallow Ayez Sorry people! You missunderstood my thoguhts! I didnt wanted to say, that MJ has this move from Usher! I said "mybe this is Usher glide not Mj" because MJ's slide is looking totaly different than this one. I only knewed the slow motion glide of MJ that yellow Ayez mentioned. I know that Usher didnt invented this move. Sorry if i was missleading.
