I don't know why people call him weird, he wasn't a weirdo. He was just different, special and had an understanding of things that not everyone could really comprehend. Like everybody, he's a human and I think as a person who has achieved such a level of fame it's hard to just be "normal". Just think about it, you need to worry about everything and everyone surrounding you. One day, they love you, next day they hate you or take advantage of you. That would make anyone insecure about themselves. Besides that, he said many times that he never had a time to play or just to grow up like any other child since he was always giving concerts or working on rehearsals and writing songs. Plus, his father was abusive when he was growing up and I don't think he had bad intentions with his sons but he should have found another way to teach them and not just force them through violence. Still and with all that, Michael managed to be a very gentle and kind person who always cared about others. I think he loved kids cuz they are innocent and pure souls who actually care about WHO YOU ARE, which is different from what you have, how you look, what you do, your skin color or any other superficial stuff. He was truly special and it makes me sad to see the things he went through. I pray to God he's resting in peace in heaven because the world just wasn't good enough for him.

Partly, it was because the 80's got increasingly conservative, so anything out of the ordinary was demonized. People forget, Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson...they all got treated really wild in the tabloids. The fact that Michael was doing stuff that IS DIFFERENT...I won't say weird, but different...it just made it easy for people to have their imaginations run wild. All the stuff about the Elephant Man's bones, and sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber and stuff...it was the habit of the world back then to kinda fill in what we didn't know about the biggest stars.

It really hurts me to watch this kind of interviews before the 90's when he was in his 20's just becoming the greatest. Wow..i really like this interview..Michael was just candid, you can see that his heart is just so pure and beautiful soul. He was really extraordinary,Amazing and very humble. I can say that his love for children is just pure.

What i admire about him more is that he never complained about his skin disease he used to hide it and continue and enjoy life. He sure he was thinking it may affect his career seeing his appearance suddenly changing from black to white, but still continued while explaining at the end. I like Michael Jackson in his early ages. He was cute and like a child. The more he mature the more controversy evolved him which became the saddest turning point in his life. But I think during Off the wall and Thriller he was exactly who he was. The more years went the changes appeared and so the controversy. Michael Jackson really didn't wanted to change or grow up. Ahh, I love it!! This is literally the best type of interview anyone could ever give! I love how they allowed Michael to just be himself! Interviewing outside where the nature inspires him, allowing him to introduce his llama and talk about the llama family, bringing his sister along and having fun/interviewing her! lol!
