I've noticed some parts of the CD audio are a bit better quality indeed, I noticed this especially during SIM

The DVD still technically has better quality since it has a spectrogram going up to 20kHz - it just has regions where there is a buzzing distortion, which I'm not sure is due to a bad rip or bad mastering of the soundboard before they did the CD. However, while the CD version may sound cleaner at some points, it appears to have been equalized and converted from a lower bitrate - some parts sound like there are noise reduction artifacts while other parts are sibilant (like WBSS breakdown, which I tried to tone down when I dubbed it). If you look at the spectrogram for it, there is an empty gap between 16khz and 18kHz and a distinct band at 19kHz. I only included the CD audio for WBSS breakdown and the last seconds of TWYMMF.
