This is TRULY one of my favorite songs by Michael. Many people are sleeping on this jam. I'll tell you something about this song. There are TWO original Motown versions of this song. One version appeared on Forever Michael lp. However, there was a Motown issued album called The Best of Michael Jackson....he's holding a white dove on the cover. THAT version of WAT features a echo mix fade at the end....similar to some of the area's on this remix. This Motown 'echo' version is hard to find.

I hate when they leave out the best of half a song off the album, I mean I enjoy the song but the extra vocals and ad libs. keep those on the album version those are sometimes the best parts.

In 1978, my then BF Michael Rann loaned me his Michael Jackson "Best of .... " album from 1975 (MJ holding a white dove on the cover). It's vinyl and vintage and I still have it today. I used to play this track on repeat on my record player in my bedroom, not sure who I was thinking of though! I love it, this is for MJ Purists; it takes me back and makes me so emotional for so many reasons. I actually like this remix too! Thanks to both Michael's!

Hey RhythmReview, yes, this is one of my favorite songs by MJ and one of the most underrated. I was only 3 when this record came out and I've been a true Jacksons/MJ fan since I was in diapers. LOL! The echo version was on the original 45. You might be able to find that 45 on Ebay.
