It really wasnt as bad as everyone says if you truly like the Spawn character. It was just a victim of the time when guys wanted to experiment with any special effects they could get their hands on. All I know is that his BEST Movie of all time is “BLOOD AND BONE”. My God that Movie was Martial arts Perfection that gave us a Michael Jai white at his PEAK Of skill. 🔥👍🏾🔥

I like to think of it as the Producer's Cut, similar to the Halloween 6 Producer's Cut where the director's vision was the inferior one.

Is It Jerry Springer's "Ring Master" 😂 Michael Jai White Was A Trip In That!

I still love that movie. Mike was the perfect actor for Spawn.. John played the best clown in any movie... The story and Spawn character is dope.. Spawn only needed a Marvel budget and a better director if they can redo it with Michael again it will be a hit.

Fuck that guy. Spawn was and still is the shit! I remember going to the theater with my mom as a kid and she had no idea that the movie would be so dark. Spawn became my favorite hero/antihero since then. Michael Jai White is the man and I'm grateful he took the part. IMO, Spawn is one of the most underrated heros of all time. I'm 36 now and still waiting for the reboot. 🤘

I remember a friend and I went to go see the Spawn movie on opening day at the theater and it was the first showing in the afternoon, thinking we were about to witness something as epic we will be telling people in later years we were there to see when it was there like Batman from 1989, and after the movie we were VERY disappointed. We both were big Spawn fans and it was a big let down. I highly doubt anyone saw this coming especially since the HBO animated series was so great. And needless to say it hasn't aged well through the years. The development of the story just lacked so much as the story was being told. They definitely missed a home run chance with that one. Hopefully this new Spawn movie in development gives Spawn the great movie he deserves. McFarlane learned though that when you let others borrow your toys, especially in Hollywood, they seldom return them back to you the way you gave them out initially.

I saw Spawn in the threaters with my girlfriend, over 20 years later we reunited and laughed at the horrible movies i took her to. Spawn was the worst she said.

If a movie like spawn released to day, people would be calling it a master piece
