After detailing his conversation with White supremacists, Michael Jai White gave his thoughts on "Coming 2 America" as well as Eddie Murphy's impact on the culture. But, I really have come to appreciate his intellectual approach to the subject matter he addresses, He is very measured and introspective. When you add his high level of integrity and self-deprecation to his character profile, you come up with an exceptional individual. Great interview!

Indeed. His "giving them $10000 will make them happier" argument, conflated "happy" with "happier". They are not the same, just like "sad" and "sadder" are not the same. Becoming "sadder" implies that the person was already "sad"...therefore becoming "happier" implies that the person was already "happy" :-)

Vlad, you are still my guy but you took a basic comment about money and happiness and made it about poor people not being happy ... did not align with the point. It is a fact that, just because you have money, does not mean you will be happy. You won't have financial problems, but that doesn't mean you are happy ... that is the only point being made. On the flip side, there are happy poor people - not happy with there lack of finances but are happy with the blessings they do have (health, family, and love). I know first hand!!! Money makes "certain things easier" but it DEFINITELY does not make the person.
