supremejoseph yes because NBC captured the passion and focused on the game and not just buzz words and comedic routines like ABC does also keep in mind ABC basically as a subset of the monster known as Disney anything Disney touches they ruin .... Case in point Star Wars Return of the social justice Warrior episode 8

Yes! There is something SUSPECT about ABC's programming particularly. Perhaps that really is Disney's poisonous affect. Very sad yet typical for 2019😔

I remember watching this I taped it.... I love Isaiah Thomas's explanation on a Champion's mind I wish more players today in the NBA thought like these guys we would have more compelling matchups ...

Also shout out to the oldest team in 1998 having a 61 + 20 record and I highly competitive energetic defensive era of basketball... Keep in mind Scottie Pippen missed 30 games that year. ..

TV in the 90s is one of those instances where technological advances didn't make anything better lol. NBA on NBC is one of those examples

Nunya Business that's par for the course back then people don't understand that Michael Jordan was being called the greatest player of all time well before he even stepped foot in the NBA title because back in the day everything was judged on your play and not just your team success people who have to separate individual play from Team success to judge a player's ability to play the game. But now since we live in this bumper sticker / social media environment where everybody jumps at a catchy phrase or stupid comparison like who is better LeBron James or Michael Jordan it's all about championships which is absurd

All this talk about how Jordan kept Isaiah Thomas off the Olympic team but I've seen a handful of interviews after that alleged incident where Isaiah only speaks highly of Jordan. If this were true which Scottie seems to have confirmed (see video) Isaiah must have not had any bitter feelings about it because he could've easily declined to speak about Jordan or maybe downplayed his excellence but that hasn't been the case.

It's hard to really know, I guess...the only two guys who truly know and MJ and Zeke. It'd be awesome to watch a sit-down chat w/ them both, reflecting on their time as players w/ the Bulls as Pistons.

jpratx at the time Jordan and Isiah we're not in good terms anything at you here Isaiah Thomas say now take it with a grain of salt I love Isaiah but he's business-savvy know if he can't get anywhere in the media saying anything bad about Michael Jordan and for that matter LeBron James notice how LeBron James is gaining traction is the greatest player of all time because that's what people want these guys to say because they want to keep people watching the NBA it just comes down to simple psychology if the best that has ever played his already played what's the incentive to keep watching.....
@kyleshook8973

Other players on Olympic team didn't want Isaiah on the team as well. People want to put it on Jordan being only 1 or even having power to keep him off. Sure Jordan would of not joined team if Isaiah was picked but jordan wasn't picking the team.
