Fresh off recording the first-ever triple double in an All-Star game, Michael Jordan showed the Charlotte Hornets why he is the greatest player in the world.
Ironically enough, the Bulls' first opponent after the All-Star break was the Hornets, whose best player, Glen Rice, won MVP honors in the 1997 All-Star game.
Rice had a solid game against the Bulls, scoring 32 points on 9 of 17 shooting.
But as he always does, Michael Jordan put on the cape, scored 43 points and hit a game-winning three at the buzzer to give the Bulls a 103-100 win.
MJ hit 16 of 24 shots and made 10 of 14 free throws.
Scottie Pippen had a terrible game, offensively, scoring just five points on 2 of 13 shooting.
