When you consider the level of competition today it's not even a debate. Lebron has similar if not better numbers in every category against much much better players. If you want to talk about legacy that's a different conversation that can be debated. If you are talking about skill and IQ LeBron is better. The average NBA player today is leagues better than the average player in the 80's/90's, and it's not even remotely close.

Wilt Chamberlain has more double doubles more 35 point 40 point 50 point and 60 point games than anyone. He has more 60 point games than the rest of the NBA combined Jordan has four 60 point games over his career Will Chamberlain has 32! Wilt Chamberlain is the all-time leader in rebounds over his career it's not even close. Wilt is the GOAT. Jordan is #2 at best

comparing the playoffs in jordan's era to lebron's era is crazy. Lebron faced the best team ever assembled 4 times in the finals. Jordan won when the best stars like magic and bird retired. Lebron had to pass through curry, durant, and other superstars. Lebron also dragged teams of bums to the finals while Jordan had a great team each time. The fact that he got to the 10 finals is far more impressive.
