Watching MJ brings tears to my eyes. I miss watching pure talent in attack and in defense. What a leader, role model, icon and legend. Miss the fairy tale career. Impossible to have a near flawless career like Jordan's that included a dramatic injury season, 3 nba retirements, films and commercials and a short career in baseball in between 6 nba championships. To top it all off he achieved so much on and off the court records, mvps, kids and family, business and so on. The greatest athlete of all time Michael Air Jordan.

Jordan's ability to shoot the ball while falling down, give him the ability to make shots even when he is guarded tight. His vision of the court and ability to pass gives him the ability to control the game and each play. Jordan learned from many players before him and constructed a machine of basketball.

Christ almighty. Just knowing that he truly only got in 11 solid seasons with the Bulls and amassed all these stats and accolades in 15 not so total seasons played is insane. GOAT
@boogieloo18317 жыл бұрын
Gmoney Mozart - seriously. Kids today try to pump LbJ up especially because he's passing a few of MJ's longevity records lie total playoff points in history - but they neglect to realize LBJ played many more games than MJ did to reach the same total points. MJ achieved the greatest collection of accolades, achievements, incredible performances, the best overall individual career stats and 40+ playoff records (Bill Russell is 2nd place with 15, that's more than 25 less than MJ) - and like you said, he accomplished this in 11.5 regular seasons of actual playing time. He did however play in 13 playoffs in his Bulls career. MJ added a bunch of records when he came out of retirement a second time, in his two seasons with the Wizards at ages 38-40 which is more unbelievable if you think about it. These included oldest man to score 50 points or more (age 38, few weeks away from 39) as well as the only 40 year old to score 40+ points. He was simply put, the GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!!🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

Fantastic clips of Jordan, have never seen some of this footage before. I really feel bad for folks today who think that Kobe or Lebron is better than Michael. And now they're doing the Stephen Curry comparison with him; there is no comparison with Michael Jordan. Like Magic Johnson recently said, we're never going to see anyone else like him. He's gone down in the history books like Babe Ruth and Muhammad Ali did in their sport.

7:14 is a pure example of why Jordan is easily the greatest in game dunker of all time.... Other players have come along with some spectacular dunks, but no one has relentlessly dunked year after year on multiple players from all angles as often as MJ - many of the dunks never duplicated yet I might add.
@bfnelson8 жыл бұрын
FACTZ! I been saying this for years and the youngins just don't get it.
@lionelangemario8 жыл бұрын
That's exactly right.And let me add this. First of all, Carter never had to go against the kind of defensive level Jordan had to face in the paint in his era . Carter came at a time when the great/good centers started to disappear from the radar, besides Shaq. Yet, Jordan dunked on Shaq, Carter never did. Last but not least, when came playoffs time and that paint started to be a little rougher, Carter never did anything. All his highlights are made in the regular season. Yet, some of Jordan's best dunks are made in the playoffs (including the most famous one against the knicks, from the baseline). Therefore, Jordan is indeed easily the best dunker of all time. Carter might be the favorite of some people (and I would say he was more flashy because Jordan was kind of sober, not like Wilkins or Kemp) but not the best.
@bzd16b8 жыл бұрын
+Mega Drive he tried once and Shaq almost killed him.
@boogieloo18317 жыл бұрын
Mega Drive - actually, when Carter did face physical opposition, and especially in the playoffs, he shrank quite a bit - muck like old LBJ. He relied on athleticism too much in his game and his saving grace was his jump shot but in games over the long rUn, he could not dunk like MJ. MJ had huge hands and he often dunked not only on fast breaks but literally while standing under the basket with one hand gripping the ball. That's very different than any other player except a few big men. When one can grip the ball, dunking is so much easier than those with smaller hands and can be done from so many angles and positions - MJ would literally go up for a dunk, move the ball around the arms of a shot blocker while it was gripped in his right hand and then dunk the ball. He could also dunk wi his left hand. Carter might have had some flashier dunks as the flashy side of the NBA had evolved by his time (ironically because MJ's game ushered in flashy play) but MJ was a superior in game dunker and overall dunker in my mind. If MJ ha been younger and concentrated on ore modern style dunks like Carter and the kids today, he'd be better than all of them, again because of his huge hands. Plus, MJ had the highest vertical in NBA history at 48" - Carter was at 43".

HOLY fuck, the pass at 4:30. its a bounce pass folks, fundamentals. but what makes it so good, is that mike knew, he just knew as soon as he saw two defenders go to him, who was on him. you see, mike didnt just study who was guarding him, he was studying everyone guarding his teammates and he knew his teammates defenders during games and so the moment a teammates defender was on him, he knew THAT teammate would be open. his decision making skills were so sharp and instinctual. we have not seen anything like this before. mike was obsessed with the game. he knew everyone on the court and their weakness. the moment a timeout came, a switch of defenders, he was there in his mind, already calculating the odds and what he could and couldn't do, as well as what his teammates could and couldn't do.. a fucking GENIUS! hands down.
