White Power hold on you think the pistons a where aging? You obviously did not watch them play in that era. There was a huge question is if Jordan could ever win a title as a scorer. It took one All Star for him to win a championship. His name is Scottie Pippen. Pippins first year is an all star they took the Pistons to seven games. The next year they beat them. At that time all the pistons stars where under 30.
@jca4343

@the team aging argument is bs. Every team ages. It's part of sports.. Heck the only reason anyone is winning now is because bill Russel got old. The only reason anyone can win now is because MJ and the bulls got old. Some guys get older and slower. The younger guys get more experienced and better.

If he had avoided the back injury he'd have ended up the goat but people would still vote for MJ because people will always vote for the best highlight reel and MJs highlight reel is legendary with those dunks and game winning shots plus the mystique that Jordan emits. Bird was the absolute epitome of what a fundamentally sound basketball player looks and plays like. Imo they will always be equals when you compare them at their best and then there is everyone else...basketball has been on the decline ever since they left and has not felt like the same game since after the lakers 3 peat team disbanded. The new age players are soft and the competition is absolutely incomparable because of it so the rings that Lebron have gotten feel cheap and thats why nobody will ever take that title from MJ. The issue with a lot of stats is that they don't normalize them. MJ has accomplished a lot in his career and still holds many all-time records, especially scoring. Now, normalize by NBA seasons played, and MJ is absolutely untouchable. Jordan's rise to the top was more or less instant starting with his rookie year in the league, and he has done so much more in so few seasons, that the concentration of excellence per season was just unreal.

The problem with Bird is longevity. He has like 7 good seasons. I totally agree, amazing seasons, but what LeBron has done and is doing (probably a top 20 player this year) is amazing. LeBron in had his stats peak in the Cavaliers 2007-09 31-8-7, was his in best form in 2012-13, especially in defender, won a championship against the Warriors in 2016. Can't say that this isn't GOAT talk. Bird had a greater peak, but LeBron is unique

@@leonardopessanha5128 31-8-7 in the inflated weak era after rule changes to open up scoring. Look at Westbrook averaging a triple double for 3 years straight. Guy cherry picks rebounds after free throws and has his own teammates leave him rebounds. Lebrons stats dont mean anything to me. Look at his game. There is nothing amazing about his game. He puts his head down and charges the rim for layups. Every now and then he hits an open jumper. But his stats are inflated due to weak era. And longevity doesn't mean someone is a better player.

Lebron is clearly not for a top 5 of all time just yet. He's being compared to Bird, Jordan but he got swept in the finals TWICE in his career the people he's compared with never ever embarassed themselves like that, LeBron is also 20% during clutch time he's obviously not among the very very best. He's just stat-padding as a pg these days...

Jordan played with inferior centers. Kareem is the GOAT.

@Price Pittsburgh Isaiah Thomas Detroit Piston Teams OWNED Michael Jordan Bulls ( and Celtics too) during Jordan’s early years. If Scottie Pippen hadn’t become stronger by taking steroids (and make no mistake, Scottie was a pansy day one), Jordan would have become nothing more than a glorified version of Karl Malone. No one (other than Moses Malone for one year), or no Team ever owned Kareem. All of Jordan’s Titles and individuality awards manifested from Scottie Pippen during a period Centers were second rate in the Leauge. Oscar Robinson was a better guard than Micheal hands down. From a stat standpoint, LeBron James career stats circle ⭕️ Michael’s. Michael never won anything on Kareem’s watch. Kareem is the GOAT🐐.
