@@msytuser Prime Jordan(1986-1993) averaged 35/6.7/6.6/2.3/1 on 50.5% shooting and 36% from 3s in the playoffs. As good as Lebron was, he wasn't having this type of production on a regular basis, not to mention Jordan's effort on the defensive end was almost unparalleled.

@@geraldreyes2714 you should refute BECAUSE ITS NOT TRUE - Sha Broussard is a fucking liar. Wilt avg 22.5 in the playoffs for his career. Jordan avg 33.4 in the playoffs for his career. Wilt also NEVER avg 40 point in a playoff series for his entire career (let alone 50 lol). Jordan did it 5 times and each time shot OVER 50%. Wilt also ONLY has 4 50+ point playoff games in his career. Jordan has 8 50+ point playoff games in his career. Wilt has 13 40 point playoffs games in his career. Jordan has 38 40 point playoff games in his career. Wilt also only has 4 playoffs seasons where he avg 30ppg. Jordan has 12 playoff seasons where he avg 30ppg. Jordan was the superior scorer in the playoffs hell there are plenty of NBA players with better playoff numbers than Wilt - Jerry West. Lebron , etc. Why do you think Wilt playoff avg is 22.5 vs 30.1. His NUMBERS FALL in the playoffs after the 63-64 season and then again after 66-67. You can verify this yourself at www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/chambwi01.html Never take liars like Sha Broussard seriously. Wilt underachieved in the playoffs. He shit the bed and that's why he is 2-5.

MICHAEL JORDAN WILL ALWAYS BE THE GOAT! That’s his legacy to always be compared to the next great player. I love it, can’t wait to see who the next great player will be so that they’ll compare him to MJ. Oh and records of total stats are for people who play a shit ton of years in the league, has never made anyone the greatest, just ask Peyton Manning. Great players but not the GOATS. That just means you played more years. The fact that MJ’s accomplishments were in only 11 full seasons with the Bulls just blows my mind! Not to mention the style that Jordan played offensively and definitely was just exciting and awesome to watch, endless incredible moves, shots, and incredible defensive plays. He’s just the BOSS, the GOAT, the MEASURING STICK! So lucky to have lived thru his era!

How emotional was Doug Collins at the end? Talk about jubilation. He started the young bulls on their path with some epic playoff series during his time as coach in the 80's. Yes, I know he had Jordan. But Jordan did'nt do it all. Take nothing away from Doug Collins. Still has the best coaches game winning celebration ever. 89 playoffs gm 5 vs the Cavs. Jordan hits "The Shot", Doug Collins reaction......priceless.

@MadMatt41
@MadMatt41 6 жыл бұрын
El Chévere - Id say that after going out to the Pistons in the playoffs the Bulls realized there needed to be a change to how Michael and the team were play. The style of play under Doug Collins relied too much on Jordan and was not going to be sustainable or lead them to a championship. There were also rumours about a rift between Doug Collins and Phil Jackson who was assastant coach at the time. Phil Jackson replaced Doug Collins and the rest is history.

Jordan's defense in this game was incredible, blocking shots, getting steals, forcing travels. Kobe fans who think Kobe can defend need to see this because he is nowhere close to Jordan on defense. And Phil Jackson even said in his book Kobe was only named to the all defensive teams out of respect and that he put the Lakers in bad positions.

@@Justs99171 Jordan was significantly better offensively and has four more 1st team all-defense selections (9 to 5). Hakeem has 2 Defensive player of the year awards to Jordan's one. Jordan 3rd all-time in steals and 2nd most blocks for a guard. Take your pick but claiming Jordan is, isn't off-base.
@Justs99171
@Justs99171 2 жыл бұрын
@@puredistancegolf off base my fuckin' ass. All defensive team selections is nothing more than a popularity contest. Hakeem Olajuwon is the only center on the entire all time steals list. He retired at number 6. I don't even need to mention he is the all time leading shot blocker. He is the only player to ever finish with both over 400 blocks and over 200 steals in the same season. And Jordan was N-O-T significantly better offensively. Perimeter players are better off ball because they are perimeter players. Low post scoring options must be fed the ball. It's a team effort pounding the ball into the post and an individual effort for a perimeter player to get open and get the ball. It's painfully obvious you didn't grow up watching that era.

This is Jordan in his athletic prime which only lasted through 1992. Many fans forget this athletic Jordan who was literally all over the court. Coach Collins wore his emotions on his sleeve, I can only imagine his reaction had he been allowed to coach one of the Bulls' title teams.
@YS-el3hm
@YS-el3hm 5 жыл бұрын
That's the thing, I don't think Collins would have won a title. When Phil took over in the summer of 1989, he did 3 things: 1) improve Bulls' defense (one of his first actions was to let Pippen guard MJ during every practice from that point on. Pippen owes it to Phil and MJ for being the defender he became). 2) Phil started using Tex Winter's triangle offense, which Collins did not like. 3) Phil was a master when it comes to manipulating his player's mentality, and he made MJ realize he did not need to score 40 every game in order to win. I don't think Collins could win titles with his system. Obviously you can't prove it, but based on what happened in reality, Jackson was far more successful.

People always talk about 1993/1994...But JORDAN would of beat the KNICKS in 6 instead of losing it in 7 in 1994 and made Toni Kurkoc look like a young all-star DIRK....why...cuz he was a true leader and real ALPHA...1994 would of been another RING jus like 89 should of been when MAGIC'S LAKERS got swept in 4 by DETROIT, had JORDAN gotten some help in GAME 7 ECF... Just like HARDEN got CP3 now (2018 playoffs) or MOSES MALONE leaving HOUSTON to go help DR.J get his only NBA ring in PHILLY before BIRD retired him and taking over as the best SF of ALL-TIME.

The thing about it is that crazy is that LeBron spent his whole career trying to be the greatest and kinda fell a little short...he’s fasho a goat tho....everybody can’t be#1....sometimes it just is what it is

MJ's run at 5:32 was very fast, but I'm sure it's not his fastest run on a basketball court. DO you know what was his fastest run ?

I know he was clocked at 4.3 at UNC in 1983 But I'm talking on a basketball court. I found this kzbin.info/www/bejne/aofSo5ttm7Wsmqs I think it's his fastest run

That random Knick totally goaded Pippen into getting ejected. Pippen was dumb to take that bait and hinder his team in a huge game. MJ for the win, tho.

No videos about the Knicks and Pacers and Cleveland overcoming the Jordan Bulls to win a chip. Once he got on top it was over for everyone else in the east.
