Honestly I think MJ should have won the AMVP, not saying Sir Charles wasn't well deserved though, he did grab 22 boards which was quite impressive in an All-Star Game. But if not for MJ, the game would be much less entertaining and the east might not have even won. Nevertheless, it was a great game for both of them.

Jordan at his absolute best in 1991. Why? Because Jordan had his jump shot AND he could still fly to the rim. This was Jordan at the height of his powers before the transitioned from a high flyer to what was basically a deadly jump shooter later in his career. From 1990-1992 he could do both.

@@igano111 yeah but he was more polished at these things in 90-92. That's all anyone is saying. He was always MJ 84-98, but from 90-92 he was at his peak. Analogy: the other "MJ" was always unrivaled in his dance and stage presence and moonwalk (not to be touched) but then... there's his "Bad Tour." Apex. 91 was b-ball MJ's "Bad Tour."

That is a good take but I disagree. I think the 1993 Jordan was the complete package. His jumper was automatic at that point and he could definitely still fly and he is armed with championship experience and deeper understanding of basketball. 1993 MJ was peak MJ.

MJ was so good. So good that he inspired competition. Practice, regular season, all star game. Every other player knew that if you were playing with MJ it was going to be a competition to see who was the best.

I know that is already some of his best games of that season in other channels, but I think it was a good season to see Jordan's fundamentals and shooting technique in detail.
