Worthy at 6’9” showing all the moves and scoring against a 7 foot Ewing. You look at all his dunks and speed displayed from the 2 final four games (Houston and GTown) you can see why Pat Riley and Jerry West projected Worthy to be a great fit with Magic Johnson. Against Houston he went coast to coast for a huge jam, outrunning everyone down the court.

I'm a UNC guy, but it's always been interesting to me how people overlook that. If Brown catches himself and doesn't throw that ball, but instead swings it left to Ewing (then guarded by Jimmy Black), Worthy is at the top of the key completely out of position with Ewing in the paint. Doherty is there, but no match for Ewing, who begins to drive to the basket. Perkins would have to leave his man to help, leaving another Georgetown player potentially wide open under the basket. That said, I'm glad it didn't happen that way!

@@ckobo84 The second one was a MAJOR choke miss. Up only by one anything can happen with even just a couple of seconds left and they would have lost with a basket for GT. This was worthy's team not jordan,,Mj got the praise being a freshman, but fast foward, if worthy could've took 80% of laker shots when he went to the NBA he would've had a career like Jordan too,

@@PowerGearPerformance I didn't know you were him to say that, u better go look at them highlights, look at giannis on the bucks, James use to come down the court like that, u just lied about all this, sound good, facilitate what, he drew double team at times too,but see what u fail to realize is jordan had the ball in his hand more then anyone(isolation) ..the Lakers actually ran the triangle offense more then the bulls, and don't say they didn't, if you do, you have no idea what the triangle is, they ran it alot but not like the Lakers, they jus were the first team to run it considering phil only coached 2 teams, soon as Jordan touched it, he going for his fade away most likely you won't see it again..

@@neekholiday3068 he did indeed. But Dean Smith said shouldn't play PG in The NBA. He never said that about Worthy. You can't compare Gnannis as a facilitator to a LeBron, PG13 or even Kawhi. Worthy wasn't gonna facilitate in a half court set young dog

@@PowerGearPerformance I believed if they used him or needed him for that then he could've did it, worthy could handle the ball, and pass, mid range shot, drive to the basket and had Defensive
