The way to appreciate miller's game is watch his off the ball movement. He's like a marathon runner that never stops moving and gets more energy the longer the game goes.

Good reaction. Jordan actually averaged 37.1ppg in the 86-87 season...with hardly any 3's. Easy 40 in today's game, no disrespect to the modern NBA. Just saying, dude is nasty.

Hop off the Reggie slander. He's top 75 for a reason. Curry before Curry fr. Not saying he's as good, but he's much closer to Curry than you give him credit for.

One weapon that many fans overlook is MJ's stop and pop jumper. To me, it was equally, if not more unstoppable.

4:41 This what I cant understand why fans fixated on 3 point line where it was introduced in '79 I think and Jordan was drafted in '84. He grew up without three point line and still became average at 33%. His midrange though is the greatest.

Another thing nobody ever reports on having to do with his shooting ability is the fact that he was playing with tendonitis in his shooting elbow for the last 5 season's of his career (that includes his Wizard year's) which makes it even more ridiculous to know when looking at his accomplishments!! P.S. Reggie Miller is cooking 90% if today's NBA player's!!! Where do you think Curry got his inspiration from

from the person who's ball sack he come out of..im sure he watched Reggie, but im also sure his dad was a bigger inspiration to his game

Jordan didn't waste any dribbles either dawg. One or two dribbles and score. Other times catch and shoot.

Good reaction. But, bro, sometimes you just say stuff! Eric Bledsoe and Kelly Oubre? Reggie Miller is 5th in 3-pt makes all-time. And, the only active players that have higher career 3-pt % while being in the top-50 in 3-pt makes (volume) are Steph and Klay. Let me say that again. ONLY Steph and Klay rank higher on 3-pt makes and 3-pt %! Eric Bledsoe is a career 33.6% 3-pt shooter. Oubre? 32.7%!

Hey, it really enjoyed your reaction. Enjoy watching all your reactions. In regards to your comments on Reggie Miller and his shooting ability compared to guys of today. My only retort would be that the defense are completely different. Freedom of movement lack of defense today versus what Reggie Miller had to deal with back. I would take that into consideration thanks. It’s being disingenuous if you don’t.

I’m not a Reggie Miller fan (not even a little) but don’t use that one mid-range stat influence your idea of who Reggie Miller was. That stat says a lot more about MJ than it does Reggie Miller. That ‘95-‘96 season for MJ at the mid-range was a clinic equivalent to Steph’s 3pt clinic in 2016. Not the best pure % but one of the best (Steph’s was 2nd, MJ’s was 3rd best) but at a volume so much higher than the rest of the league it becomes obvious they are the best. Greater shot volume = greater shot difficulty (a concept a surprising number of ppl can’t grasp) Basically, he was comparing the greatest mid-range season in the history of the league to an avg season for Reggie Miller. Guys are better shooters across the board today, no doubt about it. But Reggie Miller was truly an elite shooter, and this would be true for any era (particularly eras that favor shooting.) Prime Reggie Miller was taking around 500 3s a season and making 42% of them. Basically a prime (2014-2019) Klay Thompson. Even tho Klay was taking about 100 more per season, Klay was a major beneficiary of getting more open looks playing with Steph. Rarely do you see Klay creating his own shot and not being able to just step and shoot. Reggie WAS the Steph Curry of team, he was the guy teams would focus and double team. And he was often tasked with creating his own shot. Again, I’m not saying guys aren’t better shooters today overall, but there are levels to this. Just bc 7 footers like Jokic can knock down the open 3 doesn’t mean they’re in the same class of shooting as a Reggie Miller.

Not coming after you about Reggie miller but he was a great player but more of a 3 point player and very good defender. If he was in this era putting up 10 3 pointers he would be an all star every year. This discussion never comes up and I’ll probably be the only one to believe this on here but imo Steph curry’s dad was the better of the two. He just played in the wrong era

Naww Reggie Miller had heart so that’s missing in todays players lol.. his mid range prob not a lot cause he shot a lot of 3’s and believe it or not he had heart he got in the paint points too.. so don’t underline mid range in terms of Reggie miller cause he shot more 3s. And he had heart and performed under pressure that’s what he brought to the table.. so players today may can shoot like him but they missing the main ingredient Miller had compare to todays player lol. Cause truthfully, real bulls fans back in the day no Indiana Pacers had our heart beaten that was the only threat to the Bulls honestly. And Reggie Miller was a part of that.
