I think this clip is sad, it shows how racist America really was, even then. Telling a young man his signature shoe is ugly, and MJ feeling the need to agree. Greatest shoe of all time? Is that a personal opinion or a blanket statement? Contrary to belief, these weren't even that popular back in the day. Not as popular as everyone makes them out to be. Even the first retro in 94 ended up on sales racks in their thousands. Total failure. I bought a pair for £25 and had them about two weeks before I gave them to my cousin. I thought they were trash. Most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. Greatest shoe of all time is subjective. There are many I would put above this shoe in the, "rankings."
