Just WOW!!! I grew up without cable and was working with my dad at a home where I could only hear this or a similar Bulls vs Hawks matchup. As a kid, I wanted to run in that house, pull up a chair and watch the game. It seems like this is one of their early attempts at implementing the triangle offense. They were doing it in a way that took Jordan out of the offense too much on this night. You can see they abandoned the triangle with Pippen as the primary ball handler at the end of the game, this change put the ball directly in Jordan’s hands and allowed him to take over. I can see why Doug Collins would not be interested in using the triangle.

Nobody could really guard Nique one on one back then. They showed the graphic where Dominique and Jordan had all of the TOP TEN individual scoring performances in the NBA. Dominique had the top 3.
