@THE he may not have needed to the east was so weak back then before the pistons even came through Mike and the wizards even if it was an 8th spot couldve beaten the nets. Now he would probably only want to play with SCOTTIE add in a couple shooters and you have potentially a championship winning team. Beating the lakers would've light work.Guys like micheal Jordan floyd Mayweather can practically see things coming before they happen. They know a thing or two cause theyve seen a thing or two. Probably even make it to the finals and beat the lakers. The lakers weren't the most highly IQ winningest championship level team. And the competition theyve faced out of the east was so weak that a micheal Jordan scottie pippen and maybe a Rasheed Wallace team would've made the finals and beat the lakers. No cap

02-03 McGrady was 32 ppg, 6.5 rbs, 5.5 AST, 1.7 stls. He was arguably the best player in the NBA here....up there with Kobe, Shaq, Iverson, Garnett, Duncan, whoever else... For MJ to beat him like that....at age 39-40....pretty much says that prime MJ would've destroyed these kids...(and in Shaqs case, he USUALLY did) And adds T-Mac to the BIG list of elite NBA players that look average against Jordan

MJ's squared to the target set shot after dribbling is the quickest deadliest move ever, not a lot of players do that on consistent basis. He is shooting off a dribble anywhere on the court with ease at 39-40 how's that possible? Is it the massive hands and fundamental footwork? You guys notice Mike doesn't do unnecessary extra dribbling that Curry and Irving been doing now a days?

For people who said that Jordan didn't accomplished anything when he was 39-40 in the 2002-2003 season, the Wizards was 20-3 when they scored 100 points are more. 20-3, that's 17 games above .500. If they were to kept up with that pace, they would easily be a playoff contender. Lebron on the other hand, with Hall of Fame Players like Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis in the 2022 season they were 31-40 when they scored 100 points or more and that's 9 games UNDER .500.

What I get confused is, when they show highlights of Jordan getting killed or did in, people be o he was 40 he was washed. But when he’s the one killing they be like awe man he was dropping 30 on people at 40

Because when you're at that age, physically speaking, you're SUPPOSED to be gettin' done in by the top tier, prime young players. But when you're the one givin' out buckets to these young, top tier guys, who are at the start of (or in) their athletic primes, then you're not supposed to be able to get the better of them (physically or otherwise). That's why...

This team had some elements of a contender, but there wasn't enough time, based on Mike's age, to build around it. Popeye, Nesby, and Russell were all great role players during those couple of years.

This was NOT Prime Tracy McGrady. We never got to see PRIME Tracy McGrady because of injuries and lack of work ethic. This was a one game look at T-Mac's coming out years establishing his greatness... But we didn't get to see his prime sadly because he and Iverson were my 2 favorites at the time 🤷🏿‍♂️
