I believe he did give up drugs but he relapsed. With all we have going on in the world right now, this is the perfect breeding ground for struggling addicts to slip. Addiction is a very slippery slop. People should not be so judgemental because addiction can happen to ANYONE. RIP Michael K. Williams.

You straight cap. You haven't been around enough to know that being judgemental and how its one of the things that keeps us in a crabs in a barrel mentality that keeps us down. This man accomplished a career that you won't ever achieve. Thats what I don't understand. If we see someone who has worked and accomplished something, people want to laugh at their missteps instead of just trying to learn how to be a walking example of accomplishment from them. The truth is even if he did slip-up, he has still accomplished more in his cut short life than you will in 100 years of a long life. The narrative of your life is CAP.

This breaks my heart. He was a wonderful man in every way. I’m clean 5 years but I can never forget that although I have another relapse in me, I may not have another recovery. You don’t ever know what someone is going through. People who turn to drugs do so timescale emotional and mental pain. I pray he’s at peace.
