So sad to hear of his death. True talent indeed. I'm sure that things he went thru in childhood may have created a platform for his addiction. Addiction is truly a sickness. For this man to openly speak on how he was molested as a child, hold no animosity towards his perpetrator, and feel that community shaming needs to stop speaks volumes toward his character.

Michael K. Williams. As a young preteen, I too have been robbed of my childhood innocence as well; I had to make the decision to forgive my abuser, and helped with his medical bills as he was dying; it was the grace of God, and he was my stepfather, still married to my mother. He has died, however there are days when I get depressed thinking of the anxiety and panic I suffer because of this, and how molestation he did, soiled my relationship with my mother who was in denial for decades until after he died.. As a sidebar, Michael You were incredible on "Boardwalk Empire".... No show has come close to the performances you, Buscemi and that cast did on that groundbreaking show.

I wish I knew he was Bahamian because I know for sure we would've been friends because I'm Bahamian and when we meet another, we hold on to each other tightly. There's so much I wish for him on that tragic day. Lord have mercy! Prayers for his 93-year-old mother and his son Elijah! Help us Lord!

That was a good point...Hurt ppl hurt ppl. Most victims become predators so the more you shame them, the more they climb back into the hole of despair. To be fair, those kids were young, so even if they know their rights, those cops prolly forced them into confessing.I was almost convicted for a robbery in Brooklyn that I didn't do.I knew my rights but they still held me until my grandmother came and got me.Knowing our rights is a step but it's still not enough because they don't even respect our rights.

Kings County Baby most victims do not become predators. It does happen, but it’s not even close to the majority. My uncle victimized both my brothers, myself, and several other young teens that I know of. Karma took care of him. Not sure where you got your misinformation, but spreading something like that will surely deter victims from coming forward.

There are a lot more victims than you think. The vast majority of male victims never speak out. My family treated me like I’d done something wrong for being molested. They knew, but I never said a word. That was 20 years ago, and I still don’t spend time with any of them because of how they treated me. My story is all too common. I feel ashamed, even though I shouldn’t. That one man molested, that I know of, 7 boys under the age of 14. Who knows how many I don’t know about. If the majority of his victims, 4, became predators, and each victimized 5 boys, how long before we are literally surrounded by predators using your logic?

Tattooed Gamer I’m starting to realize there are more male victims than we know. You’re right in saying they just don’t talk about it out of shame. Im amazed and disgusted finding out all the men I know that were molested as boys. I’m sorry you went through that.

When does he come in? Because I couldn`t get through the first two episodes. Too boring to me and I usually like period pieces.

More black men need to be open to talking about this. Its painful but others can relate too. It’s more common then you think. Black boys need to be looked after just as much as our girls. Thank you Michael. Rest in power💕🙌🏾
