For all Christians here, whether Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox. Let’s all pray for Wes Huff. This sudden push of fame is going to be hard, on his health, on his time, and maybe other aspects of his life as well. It’s good that we cover him with our prayers right now to shield him from what the enemy wants to do to him. He’s doing great work at the moment and he needs our prayers. Edit: Yes, of course we can also pray for Billy Carson and his followers. It's just that people might think that with all the accolades Wes is getting, that he's just gonna be fine which by God's grace he might well be. But we must also remember that when we become complacent, that's usually when the enemy attacks. So better to shield him with our prayers as he speaks and shares the truth of the Gospel on our behalf.

I challenged him to find at least 51% of Trumps claims are actually false before he goes on to say Trump is a liar. I've read the claims he presented so far and they are mostly a difference in amounts given or semantic wording but media outlets like WAPO and NYT will say it is false. He even goes to DW (who hates Trump more than WAPO) There are a couple of claims that are attributed to a different government agency. However I pointed out that USAID is the result of a frankenstien of formerly active agencies that JFK combined to avoid having to get congressional approval. It seems that no matter what I show him, there is no convincing him. He is a European though and they don't just hate Trump, they hate the USA. advice please🙏

That's because Billy has a broader concept than just religion -the time before Christ like 9k-10k years before. There is no recorded history. Religion can't explain a lot of knowledge from that time and scholars can only theorize eg: how did the pyramids get to be placed: in the centre of the geographical land mass of the earth AT the latitude of the number for the speed of light???? Where did this pre-Christ knowledge come from? Pagans are good for one thing; they bring forth their experiences in art. Love and Light

Billy thought that number of subscribers equates with intelligence. I’m sure he looked at Wes’ social media & decided that he was just a crazy Bible thumper. Billy has been spewing that nonsense for so many years without ever being challenged or asked any basic questions that I think he started believing his own lies. This really proves how anti-Christian most Western media is. Billy & his wife have behaved horribly to their neighbors & former friends. Billy complained to the guy for years about how no Christians would debate him so his friend set up a debate for him, which Billy happily agreed to. Billy just keeps lying about the former friend & Wes rather than just ignoring it or taking responsibility. I hadn’t heard of any of them until after the scandal, but Billy is nothing more than a successful con artist who is mad that people are finally seeing through him.

Poor Carson is completely reliant on having an audience who accepts his cultural mythologies without question and apparently believes that visiting some ancient site and talking to present-day people constitutes authentic knowledge. Huff pulls out years of serious study in Biblical documentation and delivers it gently. He has been putting out KZbin videos for years, but this debate has given him a much-deserved boost in appreciation.

Thank you for doing this, I was following Billy Carson, I thought he was interesting for a while, until he started to make really ridiculous claims. He makes MILLIONS duping people who don't know better, he needs to be exposed!
@ajb778611 сағат бұрын
There is no exposure. The majority of people would rather have a miserable life than to ever admit they were suckers for being a fan of someone.

took so long to do this Knowles XD. better do your own sit down interview with Wes next. that would be cool.

Wes Huff would tell you that the Biblical canon was settled well before the Council of Rome, and that the Council of Rome was a mere regional Council that lacked any church wide authority. So no Michael, the Catholic Church did not establish the books of the Bible. Early Christians who knew who those authors were and why they were legitimate did.

LOL Those early Christians were Catholic fool. 😂

This has been a decent video on that debate, but I have to say that at 10:30, when discussing oral history, there is a small mistake made by Michael. Most scholars still I believe attribute the attribute the writing of the Pentateuch, or Genesis through Deuteronomy, to Moses, Genesis in specific would have been an oral history up to his writing. It would have been passed down through the hebrews in Egypt orally from Neolithic and early Bronze Age times. If Abraham was born around 2000 BC, that means that the first eleven chapters would’ve already orally passed down by that point by Abrahams ancestors the Chaldees

Not to be nit-picky with Michael, but the method of historical analysis for accuracy that Wes referred to is distinct from hermeneutics, the method of interpreting meaning in a text.

Carson strikes me as someone who buys into a gnostic “Nation of Islam”-style historical revisionism, saying that both the Egyptians and the Australian Aboriginals are his ancestors. A totally unserious guy. I’m not going to take anything you say as serious if you argue that the Aboriginals claim they were placed in Australia by a Greek pagan god. Let me guess: melanin is a chakra-like life-force too?

@CatholicSamurai Billy Carson believes and pushes a lot of crazy stuff. He is Joseph Smith-ish with his Emerald Tablets of Thoth. That is truly wild and Billy Carson has convinced thousands if not millions that they are a real thing. He is very dangerous.

l saw this fiasco play out in November ....and it kept going, with Billy's wife having a _screeeeed_ on line, and then Billy making a response video! He was going to 'SUE defendants #1, #2, and #3 for a million dollars'. He went a little bananas and called Wes and his friends who set it up ''Clout chasers''. He _did_ however take it down, and then he had his ''own bible study'' with a dude WORSE than Bart Ehrman. But it was all in vein because Wes just skyrocketed with peeps learning about him. Wes was holding a cup which summed the whole issue up which said: _Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and _*_always be willing to give an answer_*_ for the hope that lies within you with meekness, and fear''_ ~ l Peter 3: l5 :) ~ Canada.
