I believe Nuggets made a giant mistake by giving him the max contract. Now they are stuck with him for the foreseeable future. If Malone moves him to the bench, it would make the organization look like a fool. Game 2 was when I realized the Nuggets are vulnerable. That game mapped an answer to the Nuggets other teams have studied, unfortunately. In the end, force Jamal Murray to win the game for them, or someone other than Jokić. Without AG, Jamal Murray needs to be much better. Without AG, the bench needs to be much better.

To be fair, he sucked in the playoffs because of a calf injury. MN was a bad matchup for him, having to guard Ant and try to run the offense. If it wasn’t for Mal, we would have been blown out in game 7 because him and Jokic had 30+ that game while not a single one of the others were in double digits that game.

The only reason he's been able to play in the nba isnbecause od his crazy luck at hitting those shots twice in 9 years. Murray is a terrible player who makes bad decisions and privatizes the ball. Without Jokic he wouldn't be in the nba, and no other team would be crazy enough to pay him even a portion of what he's been getting. Mpj is on a max contract btw, take a look at other players who earn the same amount or less and compare then to mpj. And then you wander why nuggets are bad. Sure Murray is playing awful but who knows why that is. As for KCP, he’s been awful since he left. Good riddance I didn’t want him back. And Brown? Shit he aint done a dam thing either. Watson is a great defender who has turned into a good spot up shooter. Braun is doing the same and has been a spark for us since rookie year.

Some players just didn't come to play. If you look closely, you can see Murray, Westbrook, MPJ just walking on defense, taking the wrong man because it's easier than running where you should be, or just getting caught watching the game. Even Hunter Tyson coming in an getting lost in defensive rotations. Mid 3rd quarter I wanted to turn the game off.

The real issue is that the nuggets didnt start westbrook im not sure why he waited so long to put him in they play better when russ starts put murray at the 2. russ can guard 1-4 and him a jokic have a better dynamic PnR but murray and the rest need to find a balance with westbrook starting he is better than braun but alot of these issues could be fixed if AG wasnt out. some may not like it but russ is still a starting PG.
