How the hell do you even "improvise" with an instrument. Like that seems so insane to me. To listen to a song once and then be able to replicate it (or cover, depending on how you look at it). Absolutely insanely talented, both of you! Not only are some of these improvised, you also have to work off of each other. And above all of that, this is just super entertaining to watch AND so beautiful to listen to!
@milanmorris-gibson58362 жыл бұрын
Improvising is very common in music but ok I aint denying the talent here though, don't get me wrong

@@milanmorris-gibson5836 Oh I know it's common... but still, the talent required for it seems insane to me

Undeniable talent. He's definitely put thousands on thousands of hours into his craft, both of them probably. I know Marcus has perfect pitch as well, which makes hearing a song once and then translating it immediately 100x easier lolol, still ridiculous talent. just because one has perfect pitch doesn't mean they can play piano like that. or any instrument.
@rogmar882 жыл бұрын
@@Austinjames314 Perfect pitch doesn't really make it that much easier, it just takes a shit ton of practice to get to his level. Hypothetically, if Marcus had a twin just like him without perfect pitch doing this channel, then all he'd have to do is play a couple extra notes before beginning the song to match the key and it'd be the same after that. The people he performs with don't necessarily have perfect pitch and yet they can improvise just as well. This is good news! It means anyone can do it if they practice enough.
@Austinjames3142 жыл бұрын
@@rogmar88 most seasoned musicians can recognize a tune after picking up on the key and then by instinct figure out the rest of the chords/notes just by naturally attuned memory and practice. Perfect pitch means you hear a note and you know the note immediately the same way you know what green is when you see it. Its not even a question. That cannot be learned and is only available based on what we know right now, when youre super young, typically before the age 6 or 7. Besides, I said that in my comment, that just cause he has perfect pitch doesnt mean hes automatically gonna be an epic piano player. He obviously has put in mad work to get to this level.
