Owen peaked probably about 22 years old after about 26 he was finished with all the injuries he suffered. But from a 17 year old until he left Liverpool he was definitely world class won the European player of the year most years played in an average team scored always on the biggest occasions could create something from nothing carried Liverpool for a few years was stunning at such a young age. Like myself I'm sure he's the reason alot of people support Liverpool 2 this day. Any man who scores 20 goals along side Heskey must be doing something right lol

Henry, Keane, Beckham, Gerrard, Scholes, Vieria, Lampard, Rooney… the list goes on. None of these players ever won one and yet all are widely considered Premier League all time greats.

What a footballer I can’t help but feel at the time Liverpool needed him to play all the time where in hindsight he should of played rested a game or too played. Top Many games before the age of 22 won’t have helped. But hey he had a great career and that’s what it’s about and I’m an Everton fan.
