in reference to the ben whitticker comment, as bruce lee says! 'showing off is the fools idea of glory' meaning showing off just for showing off's sake is just stupid and is purely ego driven, but showing off to draw your opponent into a ko blow! now thats the art of showing off! MVP does this perfectly he isnt showing off because he thinks hes amazing and wants to look good, he knows it frustrates he opponents and more often then not, is the reason why he gets his ko's! bruce lee said, i can do some fancy movements, but its to catch the opponent off guard, its snake charming, the opponent thinks your showing off but in your head your waiting to crack them if they play into your showboating, real psychological warfare, but only a few can do this to a high level, Muhammad Ali used to do this, prince naseem, anderson silva, and you can find where it doesnt work when people buy into their own showboating like anderson with weidman and naseem, even MVP vs Lima, so its a fine line you have to walk when using this in combat! in my opinion MVP is one of the best!
