Michael Porter Jr. (MPJ) comments on his brother, Jontay Porter's betting scandal allegations. The NBA and its betting partners are investigating Jontay Porter for allegedly betting on Under (Unders) prop bets on himself and even getting himself out of games to win bets. Jontay Porter prop Under bets were reportedly the most profitable bets. Jontay Porter has yet to comment on the allegations that could get him banned from the NBA. MPJ defended Jontay's character in their latest post-game conference.

To Michael Porter’s credit, his Dad family was one of the wealthiest, middle class families in Mississippi. All of them Porter brothers were basketball gods. His Dad married a White woman, which was the talk of the town back then. All of their immediate family were educated and had money. Jontay, Michael and their other siblings and Dad did not come from the streets. However, his Dad family did think they were better than most Black families in Mississippi. All of them left and scattered across the country. Michael siblings were close, well taken care of and come from good roots. It’s just sad that one threw his life away from allegedly gambling 🙏🏿
