Thaks for the video! Last time we caught him live in Austin,TX,he played 2 1/2 hours non-stop. Well,take off 10 minutes for his anti-Scorpions rant,but still. A true master guitarist,a frickin' genuis riffmeister.
@m007mm2 жыл бұрын
What? 😅 Why would he rant about his brothers band? 😅 Did he talk about the time he was in it?
@stingylizard2 жыл бұрын
@@m007mm Ha! You know it! They conspired to rip him off, song credit-wise. Stole his ideas,his black/white V image,etc. On and on. I hafta admit,once he starts playing,it's obvious he is the most prolific of the 3 Scorpions guitarist. He was,after all,the original Scorp lead guitarist. Uli is a master,Matthais is a master...Rudolph has skills picking 'em and writing epic riffs.

@MichaelMcNevinMusic5 жыл бұрын
Wow, so he is human after all? No biggie, he's like the rest of us once, with a string getting wonky :).Interesting he didn't just play a G chord or some other 'go-to' tuning check at the bottom of the neck to narrow down the string or the problem. All the more interesting that he stayed focused on those opening notes and his tone up there high on the neck area to fix it. Schenker is a One of a kind talent, I wish I could play one of his songs all the way through, or express so well in tone and fluid melodic that kind of creative rock and roll solo building he does. Forged so much ground in the 70's that guitarists of the 80's and now, owe him a thank you. Glad he's still out there. A pioneer who too many rock and roll fans missed if they weren't paying attention to the UFO records, which was too sparsely covered in the US markets. I"m just a folky, but what an inspiration he was in my teenage years when I was learning to play in garage bands.

I saw that interview, and yes it is shameful. I have noticed in watching the body language of the band members in some of Michaels sets and it seems distant, although they smile when the camera is on them. It is one of those things in rock bands that often people fall out. Mark Bolan was one who had his stage set rigged so that it would push him off of the platform he was on, it is actaully on vintage TV on Top of The Pops.
