Michael Schenker and Ratt. Effin' classic. Early 90's Unplugged. All these cats were on top of their game here. John Fogerty was probably proud to hear this phenomenal rendition.

We all know Michael can play classical. We know he rocks. But on Born on the Bayou he almost goes Country. His Flamenco is great too. I guess he did it just to do it. Love his classically tinged rock and roll the most. Melodies drip from his brain to his fingers. Thanks for the post Axe.

Getting Michael Schenker to sit in is fucking cool. Talk about having a guitar god with so much history on stage with you to "fill in" for Robbin Crosby. Michael is definitely not known for playing with other bands or playing any music other than his own, but I think that his friendship with Warren probably helped convince him to do it.
@adamwarlock35304 жыл бұрын
Schenker's jammed in UFO, Scorpions 2 times (couple years before UFO then recorded Lovedrive and toured a few months afterwards) then had many lineup changes in his solo bands. The reason he toured with Ratt was because it had been 3 years since he had came out with an album and his personal career was in transition. So he had his manager find him a gig to keep him busy until he got his own thing going again. Shortly after he toured with Ratt, he was one of the guys who formed contraband. They put out an album and toured. I think after that he reunited with UFO again, came out with a UFO album, toured it with them, then he went back to his solo career again......u can say kept busy in the 90s.
