@commanderstyle061004 жыл бұрын
A verry few people actually know that getting a second person with you on a bike is stabilyzing this bike like hell. It s a fact. The main downside IS that all this weight crashes the performances a lot. But believe me, I never had a highside with a Passenger on the track, and moreover, there's even some corners you can enter in faster than if you were alone ! TRUE!
@abegaz95824 жыл бұрын
@@commanderstyle06100 thanks for the new info...I'm still a beginner biker so I still have a lot to learn...my bike wabbles left and right when i put a passenger on
@commanderstyle061004 жыл бұрын
@@abegaz9582 it depends a lot on the Passenger you get on the bike Man. And you have to completly correct the geometry on your bike to absorb the huge amount of weight on the back. It s completly normal that your back suspension wabbles at acceleration cause it's way too soft to manage the weight. But you might have also noted that you cannot dribble anymore on the breaking phases with a Passenger. The center of geometry is pushed to the back and the Passenger completly "sits" your bike on the ground. The normal mass transfer caused by the brake causing the dribbling is corrected. That's an other good aspect of getting a Passenger on a bike 👍👍
@deldridg4 жыл бұрын
Back in '06 I was fortunate enough to have about 10 laps around Phillip Island on a Honda works bike with a rear-set piloted by one of their factory riders. As a rider myself, the acceleration was great but familiar (had a Blackbird at the time), but what these guys do under brakes is utterly phenomenal. Incredibly smooth throttle, brake, throttle transitions. Great memories indeed!

Randy received the first Ferrari F40 from Cagiva. I truly believe that because of Randy developing the Cagiva, his friend, and my favirite racer of all time, Eddie Lawson came on board, and received the second Ferrari F40 from Cagiva, winning the first and only G.P. win for the badge. Folks can talk about Lewis Hamilton-Mercedes wins only, and Valentino Rossi, who has ridden every engine configuration of 500, 900 Moto G.P. bikes, and world championships on different badges, but there was just Something about Steady Eddie, who could ride the wheels off every thing. Took the number one plate off the Yamaha, put it on a Honda the next year, and one. Won the Daytona 200. My bike hero.

@@raynic1173 believe me I know, I’m 54 and been riding sportbikes since 35 years, and it’s exactly why I said that because I simply never saw anyone’s that didn’t moved a little finger like he did witch is not bad of course ( for the few who didn’t get it, I said that as a jokes) and since the tones of experience I got I had a couple of regular girlfriend riding with me and also many random girls who just wanted a rides.... anyway , in all it happend to me once that a girlfriend of my buddy ask if one of her girlfriends could rides with me for the day, and I said yes, sure sure was relatively small, around 5”4 and I guess between 110 and 120 pounds, didn’t knew the girl at all but after only 10 minutes ( not even ) as soon we stop for gas the first thing I ask was if she was ok and everything was fine ? she said yes and just keep laughing on how much it was fun and that she missed that ! ( her old boyfriend had one and she was used to rides,) and the next thing I’ve ask was if she would marry me,,,,,,,, 😱🤯. In a funny way of course, because even if I did knew her I never ever had someone on my bike where it was exactly the same as when I ride alone, I said to themes that she was so perfect behind me, that for the first time of my life I would totally agreed if she would wanted to go on a track day with her, and my ex girlfriend was with me for 2 years before that and her it was 10 minutes !, but it was really like I was alone on the bike, and that is not exactly how it goes normally, another of my neighbors used to rides with me for some times, and I’m not even sure if she was weighting more than 100 lbs, but she constantly keep moving behind me ( so annoying ) , so yes I thought it was funny , and yes I know he did exactly what he should do, but in the real world I simply never saw anyone stayed freeze as he did, witch made me saying that jokes. Sorry if I offend anyone’s but for all of those who rides for real, they all understand what I meant, because for any reason you want some are scared so they will try to get the bike up in a curves, or brakes for you cause they’re to nervous, other get to relax and start doing all kinda shit like if they were sitting on the couch, but they always moved always, unlike what happened here.
