Ida he’s been growing the hair and beard to begin filming Prodigal Son season 2. He mentioned it on the last livestream I caught him on. I adore him too. He’s actually said that Martin Whitly is one of his favorite characters because it’s like playing an evil version of himself. 😎

They work really well in their roles because they have elements of both. I do think this was the best casting because the obvious casting wouldn't have been that way, similarly to how Betty White was originally supposed to play Blanche Deveraux, and Rue McClanahan was supposed to play Rose Nylund, based on their previous roles/typecast, but instead they wound up switching their roles and the rest is history. David Tennant had played baddies before Good Omens, but he still was known to be a great big awkward softie, which is why him as Crowley was so great. Similarly, unless I am mistaken, Sheen is known as a very charming and smooth man. More of a classic devil type of guy. I love the switch the same way I love White as Rose, and McClanahan as Blanche.
