This is not in context But you may help with this phenomena, how we can finish a sentence of someone more or less putting words into their mouths. Can you talk more about expectations and guessing. I think it may have to do with having patience to allow natural flow

If one is not to rearrange, replace or remove outer objects in order to find peace, does this mean one should stay in an abusive relationship and just work on not minding the abuse?

I'm not Michael Singer. I am the content creator for this channel. It is my humble opinion that one should always remove themselves from an abusive relationship. The important thing is to notice the thoughts and feelings that are generated as a result of that relationship. When you acknowledge the thoughts and feelings, you are in Witness Consciousness. You are healing. It's important to NOT push the feelings down, but rather feel them and release them.

@@SeatsofContemplation Thank you for replying, I agree with what you say. Perhaps Michael should consider introducing some caveats into his teaching, as people will apply it to their individual situation. An abused person’s default belief is that ‘I am wrong and the other person is right’, and will find it difficult to take action on their own behalf. The message of ‘accept everything as it is, and if you’re suffering it’s your own fault’, can easily be misconstrued in these circumstances.
