I love Michael Singer. I'm on the path to freedom because of him. Having said that, I wonder if he knows the dark history of S. Freud. It's so dark that if MS knows, he wouldn't utter his name in his talks. Not a lot of people are aware that Freud and his work was supported and pushed by people in power to gaslight their victims of incest, sexual abuse. I struggled to write anything that seems judgemental but I think MS would want to know this info. The book to read to glean more about Freud's dark motivation was written by a Jewish psychoanalyst Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson. He was the director of the S. Freud Archives and learned German in order to understand the history of psychoanalysis---he had full access to Freud's correspondence and other unpublished papers all written in German. He loved S. Freud and wanted to honor his legacy but having read Freud's writings, he realized that Freud was a fraud and a terrible human. He wrote the book The Assault on Truth. I really hope MS reads this book. So much is hidden from us as people, including the truth about Freud.
