I heard an interview with Joe Walsh when the Confessor album came out so long ago. He called Michael Stanley a musical genius. RIP Michael Stanley

Just learned about Michael Stanley having passed away a few days ago. We will all miss him. I'm glad he and Joe played together, two of Cleveland's greatest rockers.

Michael Stanley was able to write emotional, sincere lyrics...Joe for some reason chose booze and whatever else instead... Glad Joe is sober nowadays. I really miss the 70s and early 80s MSB... every song...

We weren't improvising on Rosewood - we came prepared and rehearsed it with Joe earlier that afternoon a couple times. ;) Joe's a great band leader too, very easy to follow for cues.
