billny33 Take your "lol" back to 2016.
@deezynar6 жыл бұрын
No, Strahan is saying that the guy had a misplaced sense of self confidence. He had built his view of himself on the ignorant idea that he was unbeatable. NOBODY is unbeatable, and anyone who views themselves that way will have a nasty lesson coming to them. The guy would have had that crisis eventually, even if he hadn't messed with Strahan.
@billny336 жыл бұрын
Perhaps, but maybe not as dramatic as the epic beatdown he got from Strahan, maybe he would have gotten owned on the field in a game in a more competitive, less violent way, coped with it better and adjusted and kept his career going, who knows? Now granted, it sounds like the guy deserved it. So I'm not faulting Strahan for doing what he did. But if a guy says a) I beat this guy up and b) he was never the same player after that...not too many other conclusions I can really come to.
@deezynar6 жыл бұрын
"Not too many other conclusions I can really come up with?" billny33, you don't need to come up more than one conclusion, Maumalanga was a nasty bully who was on a set of rails headed straight at getting his rear end torn off by someone. He was extremely fortunate it was done to him how it was, because it could have easily been a bullet that put him on the floor. With a habit of bullying people, someone was bound to kill him eventually. Strahan did him a favor, and if he didn't have it in himself to bounce back from that, it isn't on Strahan.

The average man or person for that matter will NEVER understand the bond a team has in the locker room and on the field. We go to war together every week and sometimes during scrimmages during the week. I remember this one kid on the team during my sophomore season that I literally hated, had a mouth and never shut it even when you got the best of em. I fought that dude once a month on the field but when he would scrap with someone off another team? I'd always be right there swinging wit em, an he was the same wit me. Family stick together , you may be wrong but you'll be wrong behind closed doors, were a fkn unit when outside eyes are watching..

Want to see what real war is like and look into another man's eyes while they die knowing it you or them go sign up for the military otherwise keep your stupid "war" comments out of sporting games because it couldn't be further from it.
