Yes he is! I met Michael on Stryper's 25th Anniversary Tour and I was able to meet him as well as the other band members Oz, Robert and Tim. They are all wonderful and amazing gentlemen and Michael was amazing when he said a prayer for me because I was just diagnosed with uterine cancer, it was truly a very special moment for me and my husband. I will always be a fan of Michael and Stryper!

I know this is like 3 years later. My wife and I work with kids over weekends. I always tell parents to NEVER accept anything less than the Minimum result on a bully complaint. The minimum result is; 1. The bully gets expelled with immediate effect. (after everything has been taken into consideration like eyewitnesses and other complaints and previous complaints) 2. In order for the bullying kid to be let back into school, he has to be evaluated by a professional person. More often than not, bullies were/are victims themselves and someone with backbone needs to step in. Both steps are crucial because step one moves the bully out of the equation and step two deals with the root cause.

I remember being bullied in school because I just didn't think on the same wavelength as the people in my classes. I am 51 years old now. I got saved at about 16 years old. If I hadn't, I would have at least attempted suicide. The thing to remember, is that you don't seek a permanent solution to a temporary problem. High school stinks, but you can survive it. Faith in God gives you something else to focus on. It also helps when you have good music which gives you a new song to sing,which can reinforce the things you are learning by faith. In time, things like this get you past the difficulties you are suffering now to get you to the future,and the Lord promised you a future and a destiny.

We’ve been running in the same circle for a while now, although you still have much more youth on your side, than I. This hits home. My son, now 14, faced bullying. Combined with being High Functioning Autistic, his whole self worth plummeted, along with his football dreams. No matter what a parent says, these kiddos cannot shake off the cold remarks from peers. As a freshman in high school, he finally has a great support staff, and with God's help, we will pull him through. I have played this often for him, and I see him taking ng the lyrics in. I post it on my FB wall, do he can see and be reminded.... Thank you

Oh my goodness. Wow... Michael and Stryper are real genuine who love and care to do Jesus work. I resignate with this song. My son attempted suicide this past January and God saved his life, even tho he doesn't believe again. He's bipolar and autistic, suffers ptsd. I was the thoughts last year and got help, but still struggle. Im ptsd and bipolar, we are both survivors of abuse, I'm a survivor of rape. I thank Jesus for giving me strength to keep going. We need more Stryper in this world to speak up for those who are too afraid. God bless and one day heaven will be on earth.

Amazing video and very true. I grew up in a household that had abuse in it and it was not ever spoken about. To this day no one ever talks about anything that ever really happened in the past or anything else and we are all going on with our lives without ever acknowledging much of anything that happened before in the past. I did think about suicide a lot, but I did get help after I spent my entire time in school getting picked on and singled out as the new kid. I had managed to move around quite a few times and it just happened right in the middle of the school year each time that I had to get put into another school. I managed to have a total of six different schools and three different high schools. I can say that if people ever tell anyone that they are not good enough for anything then they have no clue who God is. He is truly amazing because I am still here and managed to make a pretty big impact on most of the people around me and that is because I have let God do what He has ordained for my life. I’m truly grateful for the opportunities that have come after the lower points in my life.

I wouldn't really classify this as a Christian song, per day. Obviously touches on a Christian principle (love others as God loved you), but it's more a universal message in my opinion. Don't let bullying ruin or define your life. As someone who was bullied growing up, I would relate this whether I was a Christian or not.

I have never had a chance to meet them. Even though, I saw them in 1988 at DAR Constitution Hall in DC. Then again in 1990 the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax(Virginia). 'Honestly' still makes me fall apart every time I hear it. "I'm Not Your Suicide', is from Michael's solo project. So, It can't be labeled a STRYPER track. It does remind me of my tumultuous years in school. I was bullied relentlessly.
