I had a very similar experience! And I was also blessed by Justin Peters. Thank God for him. I pray the Lord continues bringing his sheep out of the false teaching and into his truth. The falsehood that is out there today can feel so discouraging. So many people believing the prosperity and word of faith gospel and not discerning. And how easily I too once believed it. 😢

Also having women “pastors” is rebellion against God’s word so he’s in open rebellion against God’s word. One more thing, his teaching the Trinity is like three forms of water is Modalism not Christianity. Not to mention dry ice isn’t water. That’s kind of important.

Uncertain of what you mean by "woke"? People frequently use that phrase in place of saying "Black people" and "minorities in a negative connotation." Even if you attend the best church, harboring hatred or distain for others simply because of their skin tone or political beliefs ( that the news usually untruthfully generalizes) is not Godly at all, and those people who carry that in their heart and mind are no better than these two wolves in sheep's clothes.

Out of morbid curiosity, I felt compelled to look up the meaning of the name "Todd" because I've noticed that there are an increasing number of high profile pastors named Todd making my mark and avoid list: Todd Bentley. Todd White. Michael Todd. Turns out the name is of English and Scottish origin and means "fox" or "wily person". I then looked up the dictionary definition of "wily" and it reads as follows: "skilled at gaining an advantage, especially deceitfully." Naturally, this doesn't mean all Todd's can't be trusted, but as far as my "clouds without water" listing goes, I haven't seen pastors more aptly named since Creflo Dollar. 👀🤣

I could use to repent more myself. When I left the church, I had a "feel good" sensation. When we leave church, I think we should be more burdened about scriptural repentance than "feeling good."

Agreed. As Christians, we should be convicted of sin and feel burdened so we will confess our sins, repent (to the best of our ability with the help of the Holy Spirit) and be at peace. The conviction/burden and confession/peace cycle repeats throughout the Christian life, at least it does in mine.

Having attended one of Carl Lentz Pastor friend's church...having been on leadership team...,and having fallen into sin myself, I know a few things. 1) Mike Todd is helping out his friend with a job. That church nor any church needs a "strategic pastor". 2) The enemy is definitely behind this. Instead of Mike Todd protecting the Church, the Gospel, he puts man first. The enemy dropped this in his ear for his friend. It is written to obey is better than sacrifice, but many current leaders do not obey first. 3) Carl needs a job, but if he was humble and repentant he wouldn't take that "pastor" title. He'd get the job he likely only can get but call himself a "director". 4) Now that the door is open, more will slide through. I'm sad it's with this black Pastor using church money to pay him, 5) Carl's wife is nowhere near innocent. If he cheated that long she was well aware. She was likely having fun herself because there were many parties she was seen having fun at with their popular crew. 5) Whatever happens, Carl will never be seen the same nor achieve the same status he once had. No man is supposed to be praised like that. 6) All the "pastoring" and hanging out Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez did at that church with Carl..they are still so lost today. 7) Mike Todd really isn't preaching anything deep. He's just a popular guy takking....I'm sick of the dryness and lack of anointing in Christ.🙄

Carl Lentz and his group should consider James 4:4, "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God." The world gravitates to them because they tickle the ears of the world. Proving that 1 John 4:5, "They are from the world; therefore... the world listens to them." Further, to paraphrase John 15:19, 'Since they are of the world, the world loves them like one of its own'. Jesus Himself warned us of this in Luke 6:26, "Woe to you, when all people speak well of you..." We are NOT to tickle ears with 'plausible words of wisdom' Therefore, we come to the world not with "lofty speech" and "plausible words of wisdom" but proclaiming Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. I fear that if they do not repent, they will be of those who hear, at the judgment, "Depart from me, I never knew you" Matthew 7:21-23

I don't understand the desire to be loved by the world and to see this as a badge of being a great Christian when Jesus was pretty clear that the badge of His people will be being hated by the unregenerate world. The reality is that the unregenerate person does not view agape love as positive. They only want a love that caters to their flesh. A Christian who does this is nice and/or compromising, not loving. Jesus even taught that we ought to rejoice if we are persecuted for His Name sake because this is a sign we are truly His. How can souls enslaved to the influence of the devil always think well of the children of Light? The more we stay faithful to Christ and His truth, the more their hatred will manifest. That's why Jesus stated those who are well received by all unbelievers are similar to false prophets. Are they reading the same Holy Scriptures?

My wife and I are in total agreement with the facts given on this video and everything that you have presented, this pastor should not be behind the pulpit or allow to speak out in public for the next five or six years, until yes he know the true meaning of forgiveness and repentance, for all he's done in bring same to the king of kings , but he should be humbly put in a position where he is morally as spiritually back on track to really learning and knowing the word of God and what it really means to be a pastor. The bible disqualifies a a pastor who has fallen into disgrace from ever taking that shepherding position again. Forgiveness does not mean everything returns as before. One cannot repair reproach upon the name of Christ in 5-6 years or whatever other arbitrary restorative period man determines. The qualifications for overseer are not about how the fallen pastor feels or what others are willing to accept. They are about the qualifications God has established for the role, one of which is that a pastor must NEVER have experienced brought reproach to the position based on ungodly conduct or immoral character. It's important that we not pragmatically oppose what scripture teaches on this matter. The Church has become overrun with false, immoral and worldly pastors who repeatedly fall and consistently teach destructive doctrine because as a rule we have all taken biblical qualifications for pastor too lightly and think we have authority to arbitrarily restore biblical disqualified pastors. Its not about refusing second chances or barring a fallen pastor from ever serving the Body in other capacities. It's simply about obeying what scripture teaches about who is qualified for such an important position. Formerly fallen pastors are not. The reproach upon Christ and damage done to the faith forfeits them from ever being given guardianship over the souls of others in an overseer role. God does not play in this area. That is why there are such a grave warnings associated with being a teacher or overseer that they receive a much harsher judgment if failure occurs. It's not a position one accepts lightly nor should think they have a right to retain even if they are repentant. Besides, I believe that a pastor truly repentant for the blot they have caused upon Christ's Name and the Church and the souls they have harmed through their sin wouldn't attempt to quickly restore themselves into ministry or fight to regain a leadership role. They would simply desire to please Christ and walk worthy of repentance in whatever sphere of influence He grants. Wanting only to be a leader and retain one's former influence is a sign of unbroken pride. ❤

@@Dilley_G45 Please be careful about being unnecessarily divisive by confusing your personal bias and biblical ignorance about the doctrines of grace with a mature ability to discern sound reliable teachers from false ones. Some of the most solid bible teachers in our faith are considered Calvinists. Furthermore, the doctrines of grace, election and God's sovereignty in salvation--the foundation of Calvinist's belief-- are all throughout scripture. Arminians and Calvinists don't have to agree on all matters but it's a serious err to call someone a false and unreliable teacher simply because they are from either camp. You clearly have not sat under the ministries of these men for fair assessment if you believe teachers like John Calvin, Charles Spurgeon, Martin Lloyd-Jones, Paul Washer, Alistair Begg, John MacArthur, Steve Lawson, Al Mohler, and Justin Peters are not "good teachers" who have fruitfully discipled many in the faith . Wiser and more spiritually mature believers than the both of us, including Chris Roseborough who you named as one you trust, believe otherwise! ❤

Pastor Roseborough does NOT teach Calvinism. Calvinists often like to claim Luther and Lutherans as Calvinists. That is very bad. I am not divisive. Divisions are caused by people who CREATE new doctrines, not by the ones that point out errors. This is very very simple. The fact that Pastor Roseborough invites Phil Johnson on his show doesn't mean he becomes calvinist. They just join forces against worse heresies like charismatics/WOF/NAR. Great show! Having left the AOG, which Hillsong is or was part of, the lack of discipline for anyone in the pulpit is practically non-existent in some of the cases. Bottom line unfortunately, is they have become, as the NAR, a business run by popularity. This is quite obvious when they think Christians should be impressed that Lentz made the influencers list, along with some of the most worldly people openly offensive to the gospel. Pragmatism rules many of their decisions. We do not need the world’s stamp of approval. Praying for those unable to see past the celebrity, to find the Truth. God Bless!

He came to a Church I used to attend. He just ran around yelling garbage and people were on their feet screaming. I had no idea why! We left after it was over and on the ride home I looked at my wife and said I have no idea what he said or what the point was! I don’t know why people were all yelling and cheering. It would be really hard to have trust in him as a pastor. He lost that while pastoring Hill Song. In 1Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9 in the New Testament it clearly states “his integrity is above reproach, no moral failing’s, blameless.”He’s definitely lost the high calling of what is required to be a Shepherd of the Church.
