Good man vossy, met him outside of the mcg on Anzac day in 2013 I think. He'd just coached Brisbane the day before and got thrashed. He yells out "have enough boys? I feel ya, had the same feeling yesterday". My dad not knowing who it was at the time yells back "mate you didn't just lose Anzac day" jokingly but then he saw his face and he went and had a chat. Good man Voss, cheered us up after that shit show game.

Voss at this moment (2024) is my captain of the team of the century, thus far. Other than Covemtry, I’d find it hard to find a better player / captain in the history of the VFL / AFL. Michael Tuck won 4 but wasn’t nearly as good and Carey only won one (and probably not the player you’d want in the trenches beside you). Hodge is the only player that comes close and I’ll take Voss just over him. Of course this is all subjective, but hey that’s why we talk about this stuff.
