I said thank you 7 months ago. I say that again as I have progressed from a high wing trainer to a low wing trainer. The video makes even more sense. Thank you!

I use the Scroll wheel in Flight in my Spektrum DX9 to trim out coupling I find it's nice to scroll the wheel and actually DIAL it in while flying. I just look which way it needs to be scrolled on the ground then go up and slowly scroll it until it's perfect.

Thanks but wouldn't the knife edge mix you've added affect your general flying?

Yes, but in a completely positive way.

When you are trimming for knife edge, do you have than on a knew flight mode, or does that mixing reside all the time?

I leave it on all the time. With the exception of high wing, it mostly helps in every part of the flight envelope.

this is not for new pilots. You are pressing something on the transmitter but what is it? Which direction?

What prop size and pitch are you using on your pa planes? They are quiet and seem almost effortless and don't really seem like a typical 4.7 pitch slow fly

I use the recommended props always. It is important I fly it the way customers will.

Hello, If I can ask you about one question regarding trimming a new plane on its test flights, especially warbirds and high wing scale planes. On the forums there are couple tips how to do this right but they are all about 3D planes or other acrobatic planes. Can you guide me how do you do this? Especially checking your CG in flight - 3D planes are checked in inverted up-line or down-line but how it goes to lowwing warbird or highwing without symetrical airfoil?

Would you still mix out the roll coupling if it resulted in 52% mixing? That's what happened on my high wing omp hobbies big horn. It had a huge amount of roll coupling on both sides.

That’s a great question, and the answer is yes. I have a high wing plane that really is getting to be about 30 percent or mother. It’s the nature of a high wing in trainer. If that much Rutter mixing has any bad effect on anything else, you can always put it on a switch if you want to do knife edge or something like that. It should have a positive effect on most everything though

@@MichaelWargo I like the idea of putting it on a switch vice always on. At least I can test out the feeling between the two and decide how to go with it. I was just so surprised at how much mixing it took to get it to knife edge well.

This video is totally useless, unless someone owns your $1300.00 controller with all it's fancy touch-screen adjustments.
