Michael Whittaker and Mark Lettieri All Star Jam @ Rudy's Jazz Room, Nashville, TN 6/11/2022 (Live)

Nashville Keyboardist Michael Whittaker and Mark Lettieri (Grammy nominated guitarist of Snarky Puppy) meet for a fiery session of funk, jazz and fusion. Michael is noted for not only scoring TV shows like The Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles series, but also is an A list session keyboardist and musical director originally from Los Angeles. Mark Lettieri will be joining Whittaker with his incredible guitar skills. Mark has long been the guitarist for the popular band Snarky Puppy and now has established himself as a Grammy nominated leader. Joining them will be groove jazz drummer Petar Jonjic of the Cory Wong band, Dominic Amato on Sax and legendary virtuoso bassist Adam Nitti.

Brilliant recording of a great show (and super editing) - thanks so much for posting! (I'd seen an announcement for this on Mark Lettieri's Instagram - alas, I live on the "wrong" side of the Atlantic.) Interesting to see Petar Janjic (note spelling ;) outside the Wongnotes context; he seems to have his serious-jazz-face on. :))

Thanks for the kind review. All the hard work was done by these excellent musicians. I was surprised to see Petar's name on the bill as well, but I knew he would nail it, and sure enough, he did an excellent job. Was great to see him outside of Wongnotes as well.
