Catalunya is known for being one of the climbing destinations with the highest concentration of hard sport climbs in the world. Era Vella, a Chris Sharma line located in Margalef, a small town lying on the hills of El Priorat, is one of the routes that stands out the most for its length, perfection of movement, and beauty. No surprise it's one of the most repeated 9a's in the world!

Didnt like the photography edit personally. Took away from the flow of the climbing, imho. Was always a little immersion destroying. Apart from that, awesome send!

Walter, I agree. The timing of the "snaps" was often awkward relative the actual cuts and therefore the effect overused relative to its actual potential value tying together discontinuous cuts. Additionally, I found throwing in the short segments of a "bullet time" effect (slow-mo at times of high consequence) to be in poor taste. That isn't to say that the effect couldn't be put to good use in a climbing film, but it did not suit the overall vibe of the story being told. Finally, if you're going to have two cameras up on the wall then make a plan to use that effort effectively-one of the cameras was just staying put when that operator could have ascended the static line to get shots the primary could not. (Yes, it is a pain, but there was plenty of time to ascend that 20m of rope.)

Great video as per usual, love the sport climbing content. Just a personal feedback though, I wasn’t a big fan of the snap shot effect. I found it kept taking me out the moment of enjoying the flow of the movement. Totally a personal opinion though, still a brilliant film. Top send beast💪

The material seems really good, why then i don't like it? First, not the most important, always this presentation, town in the mountains traditional music (rune dale - barelona), not even close to what is catalonia culture, you could listen that with any generic meditarranean style film or something. Some talk from michaela and chris. Thank god it's short and goes to the point. Then the climb, at first good sinchro with music (and i like a lot more that electronic music than others like the french petzl '10 videos) and cut pauses straight to the beauty of the movements of michaela. I liked it a lot, good movement, so potent. Good video quality and shot. Then... wtfck with this photos?! and moreover the 'vengas allez and etc.' cut this sounds plis. Not you, everyone! thats not really the climb. I dont know. Missed oportunity. When in a movie (qualsevol pelicula, et diuen, texpliquen que esta passant t'estan prenent per tont@, ja ho estic veient, no necessito una foto enmarcada, ja se que es bonic. Vols remarcar-ho? treu-li velocitat per un instant. Crec que ho heu fet. No tallis el flow).
