consider the seals on Aizen "the physical ability to do things", his ankles were bound so he couldn't stand or walk, his eye was bound so he couldn't see and his mouth was bound so he couldn't speak. But he has such precise control over his Spiritual Pressure that he can move himself as if he's walking through manipulation of the Spiritual Pressure, know the people in a room and what they feel like to identify who it is through that pressure and send messages out with his spiritual pressure so he can communicate through it likely simulating his voice in the same way. He's bound to the Muken currently by this and it's the Muken that's keeping his Spiritual Pressure so close to his body, but essentially Aizen's still sort of massively OP here.

Also in season 2 when he meets Chad, he really does do everything he can to not kill him, and he does respect him. He might be my favourite captain in terms of how he thinks.

By merging with the Hogyouku, Aizwn is always growing stronger, even in jail. He has more riatau now than when he fought Final Getsuga Ichigo

@The_BlOb Idk if you’re just joking because Togashi gets accused of being lazy (which he isn’t either)…but Kubo isn’t lazy. Kubo was sick half the time for the last 5 years of Bleach’s manga run, and was hospitalized several times. He only ended Bleach prematurely due to health problems. And after the series was over, he found out he had torn shoulder from drawing, which he had basically been ignoring the pain and continuing to draw Bleach to the end anyway. He’s recovered now, but he’s basically working full time on the Bleach anime as general supervisor.

As a manga reader, I have my own theory about Ichigo. Because what ended up happening with the manga was a whole lot of rush jobs when Kubo was unhealthy so it's basically an incomplete storyline. This anime is what Kubo actually wanted to do and we're seeing new stuff every episode. Just like how a squad zero member's bankai was lacking from the manga, so to were several things with Ichigo and Ywach just missing and I very much hope we'll get to see them now :)

As I've mentioned in other reactions to this episode, the flashback with Ukitake was greatly extended and gave us what I believe is a great piece of information. 'Unohana had her current hairstyle while Shunsui and Ukitake were still in the academy.' This implies that she had her initial duel against Zaraki before this point, as her hairstyle is implied to have been selected to conceal the scar he gave her. When we combine this with the knowledge that Shunsui and Ukitake were the first graduates to become Captains (confirmed by Yamamoto when they fought in the Soul Society arc), this means that Zaraki was wandering while suppressing himself for a very long time (upper end of 1000 years).

Love your videos! Your reactions feel authentic and you seem genuinely interested and invested in what you're watching. On a different note, I noticed that muting the audio is bothering a lot of people. I understand that you need to do it for copyright, but a good alternative is to apply some filters to the audio to distort enough so that it's not recognizable by the copyright detection systems while still being enjoyable for viewers. One way of doing that is to only use either the right or left track from the episode and applying a mono filter to it. Assuming you record your mic and your desktop on separate tracks. Experiment with the filters and try it out, see if people like it and if it gets blocked or not. In most cases, this method can even suppress music and keep dialogue audible. Hope this works, good luck!

Kubo getting to direct the anime is so god damn fantastic. Ukitake got royally screwed over by the manga. His flashback was barely a single page, and it only included the scene of his parents praying to Mimihagi. Kubo massively expanding on that and Ukitake as a character in general is really fantastic seeing as he probably has the least development/relevance of any captain in the source material. With it in mind that Kubo is cooking, lets just hope one day we do get that bankai finally.

so technically soul king body separated everywhere, not only in soul palace. we know right aizen give subordinate order to beat up rangiku and take his potential, but rangiku have a part of soul king body, and every area in rukon district, has a myhtology and god each itself. so maybe that's god connect to soul king body like mimihagi and maybe it's not only in soul society, maybe in hueco mundo, and the living world have a part soul king body, and we know hogyoku it's a part of soul king body, like aizen 3rd hollow resurection at the moments his fight to ichigo, he's wing have eyes same design to mimihagi ukitake, and ichigo have a full entity in his body.

Kubo confirmed that when Aizen first betrayed the Soul Society and was talking to Ukitake as he was leaving, he said “No one ever stood atop the heavens before. [Tidbits & Clarifications] - Here we finally get the reveal as to why Captain Ukitake has been sick throughout the entire story (which further shows just how thought-out certain plot points in Bleach are). - If you go back to when Aizen is leaving the Soul Society he speaks directly to Ukitake saying “Since The Beginning, no one has ever stood in the heavens, neither you, nor I, not even God himself” which now makes tons of sense seeing as though Jushiro houses part of “God” within himself. (This is also why I believe Wonderweiss immediately aims for Jushiro in Karakura town, as a creation wonderweiss was offensive against those who could be deemed a threat to Aizen’s ambition, but that’s just my theory) - Ukitake mentions “East 76 Rukon District, Sakahone” Interestingly enough, in Cour 1 of the TYBW we got to see the Original Gotei 13 Captains, one of which was a devious-looking, extremely old man who was the 13th division Captain (same as Ukitake) and his name is “Saizou Sakahone”. - It may seem like a throwaway line but it’s important to remember all we learn about the hands. The Left-Hand embodies Evolution, while the Right-Hand embodies Stillness and the Mimihagi deity they worship is the Soul King right-hand. - We already see that Yhwach’s broken ability has some blind spots. Yoruichi notes that Yhwach didn’t see the shadow coming (The Right-Hand), the question now is why? And how can they use it to their advantage if that’s even possible? - Pay attention to what Yhwach says will cease to exist, he intentionally named almost every single place in Bleach lore except one “Soul Society, Precipice World, Hueco Mundo and The World of the Living”. - Sidenote: Many aren’t aware of this but both Ukitake & Shunsui are from noble families. They aren’t from the great 5 Noble families but Ukitake is low nobility and Shunsui is high nobility - Sidenote 2: The scene with the guard and Aizen is a reminder that Aizen is a transcended being who has a ridiculous amount of Spiritual pressure, most things that come into contact with him will be obliterated. - Sidenote 3: It's been some time so many forget that the "there are two types of battle" line is in reference to what Ukitake tells Rukia when she plans to help Kaien in his fight with Metastacia. This episode was really good regardless but even better if you're a manga reader. We literally got NOTHING about Ukitake in the manga. We only knew him and Shunsui have known each other for a long time and that they were both part of the first ones to graduate from the academy. Other than that he was known as the sick captain who barely ever did anything in the series. I've seen some people say this episode was boring but as a manga reader episodes like this fleshed out a lot about not only Ukitake but Shunsui also. Great episode
