Well, even if you do, in a society primarily ran by males who see women as weak creatures that need their protection, this is a prime example of how strong and capable women really are... I've been procrastinating and stressing about completing some end-of-year reports at work for the past five weeks or so.... About the same time it took Nicole to stucco the pool put on the pool tiles re-do the cement bottom paint the pool make her own molds for custom poolside tiles make and install her custom poolside tiles build the pumphouse install the pump lay the turf for the new lawn and build the whole damn deck from scratch... all while apparently holding down a full-time job and taking care of a husband and three kids! **Sigh** There's a lesson in there somewhere. I swear, whole nations are built by people like Nicole! I've put a shortcut to this video on my desktop to watch and shame myself when I feel like slacking off. And yes...I'm now leaving to go start those damn reports!

Installing the pump is the smallest job she did!!! Look at the Precison with the cement and all the sealants and what have you.... but looking at her husband cutting glass in half you can tell that they both share the PRECISON work!!!!!!

I just finished a whole home remodel, floor to ceiling, lighting, wiring, cabinetry, etc. The worse part was the bathroom, had to gut it and start from framing to finish. Its awesome to see other women building! Come on Ladies! Don't let men have all the fun! Great job Nicole!

Annie's Passion I ripped out 2 full baths, one I replaced the garden whirlpool tub (ick!), and replaced the vanities and re-tiled both...basically by myself. The hubs did a little..lol

I love the part of the video when she is nodding her head looking at the other pool that gave her the idea. That looks beautiful. For anyone planning on digging a large hole like that, a good tip is to use a gas-powered rototiller in order to break up the dirt so when you are digging it out it is light and a lot easier to shovel and you never have to kick the shovel into the ground. And you can use a mulch shovel (flat, non pointed, with tall sides) to scoop it out quicker. Just break up a 1-2 foot layer, scoop out the dirt, and repeat until you get the desired depth.

Use an electric tiller. Sure it doesn’t grab quite as deep, but it’s 3x lighter to maneuver.
