You can’t join the Tour driving it 250, but you can win every club tournament you enter, making pars and birdies, by knocking it 250 down the absolute middle of the fairway. Thanks Michael!!

When your head shifts over right leg on backswing does your head stay over the center of your right thigh on downswing? How do you shift weight onto left foot on Downswing?
@DASH1ful
@DASH1ful 7 ай бұрын
Yes, but we shouldn't lower our shoulder to lower our shoulder. The key is for the right elbow to be in a lower position than the left elbow. And, the best way of doing this to raise the handle of the club with your left hand when you take your grip. If the shoulders are pointing to the left this can only mean the right elbow is above the left elbow. And, leaning to the right is not cure. Positioning the elbows correctly is the care.

Michael- terry rowles measured my grip and changed me to a side cover with slightly weak right hand. So how do I achieve the higher launch?

You should be able to see a little bit of your lead arm from behind at setup. He hits a fade so you see those tendencies in his setup and swing mechanics.

I tend to hit hooks when my shoulders are open. Any suggestions?

Surprising that his model doesn’t calculate the smash factor, as it would have shown that he was progressively getting closer to 1.5 that’s what I understand is about the maximum number you can get.

The number one thing is to HIT THE BALL IN THE CENTER OF THE CLUB FACE!!! But, that isn't easy to do.

Last time I checked going from 95 swing speed to 100 swing speed means you're swinging faster lol

I question the calibration of your “Trackman “ or equivalent measurement machine . Your smash factor ( ball speed /clubhead speed ) which is an indicator of how solid the strike ) is consistently above the theoretically ( prefect) 1.50 . Tour averages are 1.48-1.49. Your carry numbers with backspin numbers below 1500 and launch angle of ~>12 degrees will be difficult -impossible to achieve for most golfers to replicate. That said your suggestions are viable and will help most golfers hit their drives longer . I would add one more . Grip down a little . This will help golfers to hit the ball more consistently in the sweet spot of the clubface .Driver length has increased from 1/2 to 1 inches in the past 15 years . This will result in longer distances when the ball is hit in the sweet spot , but will also increase the probability of hitting the ball away from the sweet spot.

Not for slower swing speed players..read the research..my long driver is dead down the middle and long..ps..do me a big favor and please get everyone i play against to shorten their drivers to 3 wood length. Ps2..by the way i carry a shorter 460, driver to use instead of a 3 wood because it is easier to hit and you guessed it it doesnt go qs far as my longer driver.

How can this ball have two different rotational speeds. According to Euler's rotation theorem, simultaneous rotation along a number of stationary axes at the same time is impossible; if two rotations are forced at the same time, a new axis of rotation will result.

All classics golf tutos talk about this average dude, he comes over the top and slices it. That is just not me. Sometimes I hit it way down the fairway, 250 yards. But sometimes also it's a big hook or a Big push straight to the right.

Isn't it a tilted axis of rotation NOT side spin? Think field goals curving right or left. Tilted axis of rotation!
